Superior Pizza & Subs

We love the pizza at Superior. They have a good homemade crust, and the toppings and sauces are very flavorful and fresh. Prices are amazing too! The garlic knots are a must when you order from here. The sandwiches and toasties are a perfect lunch.

Delicious! We like to try local pizza when we travel. We had a Greek salad, garlic knots, and Superior pizza. Everything was perfection. Definitely recommend.

All I have to say, is that it's been a year since trying the "Big Mack", and I still crave it. I'm considering planning out next camping trip to Brimley just so we can eat this again (and the campgrounds is kind of junk).

Best pizza 🍕. I live in Fort Wayne, IN and this pizza beats any local place. every time I go to the U.P. I stop and get a large pepperoni. Hope it stays open for a long time.

Cheeseburger pizza and jalapeño popper pizza are AMAZING. This place was quick, pizza was delicious and hot. 10 out of 10 would recommend. It was way too hot to cook dinner while camping so we were thrilled to find this pizza place so close.

Pizza sub was really damn good. The Italian sub was, well a sub but nothing special. Full subs are fairly big and filling. The pizza seems to be where it's at. They're in on pizza dough the night we went there last. Had pizza there a couple years back and it was awesome though.

Best pizza EVER. Seriously. GO. Do not hesitate. GO. NOW. You order and pay at the counter and have a seat. We enjoyed our pizza outside on the patio and then went back inside to get ice cream cones to go. Which I HIGHLY recommend. :)

I order a calzone and it was delicious! I was very happy with it. Also got an order of wings and I forgot to order the bone in ones. My fault. I got boneless wings with the Thia chili sauce. They were very tasty. My order just came out of the oven when I walked in the door. I would definitely go again and highly recommend!

Food is excellent. The pizza and subs and salads are all worth the trip and they have great ice cream as well. The staff is friendly. If you are in brimley or the surrounding area you should definitely give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Some of the best we've had! Husband and I are from the Detroit area and love Buddy's Detroit style and PizzaPapalis pies. We also have friends in Chicago and enjoy many of their Chicago style pizzas. However, Superior Pizza and Sub is a gem among the rough! We stayed at Brimley State Park campground for a week and didn't feel like cooking one night. We ordered pizza and mozz bread to go, and what pleasant surprised it all was!! They do get busy and so could be a wait but totally worth it!!!

Bonus: Ice cream is also very good!

First time having their Pizza and garlic knots and the Supreme Pizza was delicious and garlic knots tasted awesome.

Great location .5 mi from the state park campground. We had an antipasto salad and calzones. Everything we ate was delicious. Service was friendly. The meal wasn’t fast but was well worth the wait.

A fantastic surprise! Delicious pizza with high quality ingredients. Staff was very friendly, too. A wonderful experience. Highly recommend to anyone who likes pizza.

Pizza is amazing. Buy hand scooped ice cream while you wait. Option to eat inside or on deck. Great way to start or end evening of Brimley area.

We own a cabin not far from Brimley, and Superior Pizza is always on the menu for a meal during our stays. The pizza is very tasty in terms of the crust and the toppings. Our go-to order is the Superior pizza along with the Superior bread. Also, be aware that during peak summer periods there can be a wait for your order... which is a testament to its popularity. You may want to call and order ahead. There a small indoor dining space, plus a patio area with about three tables.
