The Residences at Talcott

Building is nice enough, but it is basically not managed. Many long-standing amenity issues and has been having issues with functioning elevators for the last year or so. Owners never made it a priority to fix until they broke for real to the point where we have had no automatic elevator service for the last month, relying on an on site operator to run the one barely functional elevator during working hours only. Multiple times we have been told that "elevator will be working by X day" only for X day to come and go. Top floor amenities are generally not operable such as the theater room and outdoor grill. We have been told the theater room has been redone, but nobody ever explained how to use it and nobody can seem to get it to work. Bottom of the building has been empty for years with no tenant.

All in all, its a nice enough place. Owners are too busy with building new properties to care to keep this one up. On the bright side, you can fly under the radar here and kinda get away with whatever in the building as there is basically no landlord presence.
