The staff at FSB are always so friendly and helpful! Mallory at the Marion location is my go to banker and always handles my requests in a timely manner. Her attention to detail is unmatched and I trust her with all my banking needs. I’ve also done two closings with Tammy at the Hiawatha mortgage dept. and she’s great to work with. She’s very knowledgeable and proactively reached out to me when there was an opportunity to lower my interest rate. Both closings went so smoothly and I’ve recommended her to several friends.

I requested help from Mallory with a banking transaction that was a bit out of the ordinary, and she was very helpful in getting it completed quickly. I have no doubt that had I been dealing with a "corporate" bank, I would have been out of luck. FSB is the best!

The problem was my bank payment request to Discover Card failed because a bank check rather than an electronic transfer was sent. The check was not received and thus I was late with my payment. Stephanie helped me get through this by canceling the check and establishing an electronic transfer. I coordinated all this with Discover Card. I think we’re all OK now. We have banked there for about two years now with no issues at all. The charge for not having a hundred in savings all the time is tough when you don't have a lot a money to begin with I think is wrong but, I guess even banks have to make money.

I've been with FSB for as long as I can remember. They are small but very efficient in all aspects of banking. I've enjoyed working with Sherry and she's been so very helpful. I highly recommend that if you're looking for a bank this is the only one I would use, you'll never go wrong and always count on them to help with any banking needs.
