Drifters Riverfront Bar & Grill

Went here after a long day at the springs. The services here were great. I ordered a BLT and broccoli, it was so delicious. My friend ordered the sweet potato fries and I tried some and they are a must-have... 10 out of 10. Definitely coming back again yummy 😋

Also, they have some pretty amazing views.

I'm new to the area and just happened to find Drifters on the way to see the yard art store. The atmosphere of being on the water is awesome and the food is even better if that's possible. Many very nice locals and I received great service from Lilly! I'll definitely be going back!

My wife and l like to stop here when we are out on the motorcycle. We have stopped here several times and the food and service has always been good. We love to sit by the big windows and enjoy the views of the river and watch the boats and occasionally see the drawbridge go up. On the weekend they have a bar and seating area upstairs and outdoor space.

This is a great destination spot of a drawbridge.

Lots of parking, well lit and easy accessibility.

Easy menu and meduim priced.

Both regular restaurant and upstairs bar area.

You can sit both outside and indoors. Great waterfront view and boat parking.

Food is great and plenty of it. Though the Carolina reaper sauce isn't it.

Ate Oysters, shrimp, and crab legs. Oysters were on the small side but everything else was big and tasted fantastic. The atmosphere was nice with a beautiful view of the river. The customer service was fantastic. Great patriotic location and didn't mind spending my money there.

Great atmosphere and views,..Incredibly friendly staff and patrons. The food was phenomenal. I ordered the grouper fingers and fries, the tartar sauce was the best I've ever had. The prices were very fair, I will definitely return.

We stopped in on way home from Ocala for a drink on the deck with our dog.
It was very accommodating.
They have multiple parking boats spots, you do have to get your drinks if you have a dog with you but it’s not a problem.

This place was really good nice and a really beautiful view of the river with a nice pull up dock for boats the service was really good the food was magnificent and quick these servers had our food out really fast only issue I had was the ac was really cold but other than that I give this place 10 stars highly recommend.

Awesome waterfront eatery! We sat on the top deck with a party of 6 and we loved the view! Waitress was attentive and the food was large portions and so good!

Server Amanda was sweet and efficient. Food we had was delicious. Especially the ahi tuna app and the grouper sandwich. Seafood chowder was tasty but had too much corn instead of seafood. House Margaritas were very good.

The grouper sandwich was the best I’ve ever had anywhere. My Wife had the grouper fish and chips and it was also excellent. Great service too.

We were up looking at a boat from the west coast and stopped in for lunch! What an AMAZING place!!
The food was delicious, service was the best, we had Victoria and the atmosphere was awesome!! My very favorite part was the Trump pic and the American signs and support throughout! Love your patriotism for our country! ❤🇺🇸

Poboy was gas !! Sweet potato fries are yummy and thick which I love! Didn’t wait any more than 10 minutes for my food and for that I was grateful because I was so hungry. Beautiful views while you eat too !

Great place to enjoy lunch, dinner or just hangout upstairs with a cold drink and a scenic view of the St Johns river. With more than ample boat parking, it's a great accessible Lake restaurant too with amazing oysters, ahi tuna, and huge shrimp. The Burgers, Cubans, Soft Shell crab sandwiches were beyond tasty! As well the appetizers I've tried have been spot on, always fresh and leave you craving to try another. The staff has always been super nice and country friendly as it should be! They are always attentive, keeping up great service on the busiest of days. Will be back soon and a MUST if dining in or near Astor or by boat if you're on Lake George. We stopped in for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon, to be seated right away. The back of the restaurant has a wall of windows, so everyone has access to the waterfront view. The staff was friendly, establishment was clean, and the menu offerings were ample.

My husband and I both chose shrimp items: his was the Shrimp Po Boy and I went with the fried shrimp. These shrimp were not shrimpy in size, but to our surprise were nicely sized and quite tasty. Our order came out correctly, with a nice size bowl of black beans & rice...my husband had fries, which were not as plentiful, but were good. The tea was sweet.

Our experience was positive and we would definitely go back and bring the family.

Second time we have been there and never been disappointed. The food has always been delicious never had any problems. For starters, we had the boom boom. Shrimp and the shrimp were again very large and it was done to perfection. Short note the boom boom shrimp comes with some very hot sauce. I had the grouper sandwich which was huge it was grilled to perfection, Couldn't eat the whole thing in one sitting, so great lunch the next day. Hubby had a spicy Pasta with cream sauce and jumbo shrimp and tomatoes. It was very, very good.
Nice view of the river from inside the restaurant and the staff could not have been nicer, friendlier and knew their stuff. If your in the area don't skip the restaurant. Not much from the outside but well worth the stop.

Found this little gem on a boat ride down to astor. Great little spot. Outside roof deck (not much seating) but beautiful views, does have a bar up stairs that is for 18 or older which we really enjoyed. The drinks and beer were ice cold and amazing! Highly recommend the blueberry lemon drop shots 😜 the buffalo chicken wrap was huge and great. The banana pepper app I recommend. My friend had the steak fajitas special and she said it was delicious.
Has a few boat slips also.philly cheese steak was delicious and the tuna was the best 😋
We arrived my airboat today and it wasn't busy at all.

Came over from Gainesville today to have lunch with family. We have driven by so many times. A nice place right on the river. We started with Gator Tail and fried Pickles which were amazing. I actually thought the Gator Tail was the best we had ever had!! Tried the shrimp Poor boy, mahi tacos with a side salad, grouper finger basket with fries, and a shrimp basket with sweet potato fries. Everything was excellent!!
Oh and even the sweet tea was great. Thank you for the great service. Definitely worth the drive.
