Mr. T's Smoke Shack

My husband and I were looking for a catering service for our wedding reception. I called Mr. Ts smoke shack because I saw he had high ratings on my Google search. I am so happy I did! Not only did he accommodate me regardless of the fact that I called him only a few weeks before the big event, but he also Provided top notch customer service and all the guests loved his food! If we ever need to cater another event, we will give Mr. Ts Smoke Shack a call! If Google let me give more than 5 stars I would! Highly recommend!

I love some good BBQ and sadly southern maine doesn't have much BBQ like I've had down south 😢. Tonight on the way to Wells we stopped by Mr Ts Smoke Shack in Arundel and my opinion changed completely.

Just the smells had our mouths watering and they had several options on the menu that sounded delicious but ultimately I went with the brisket sandwich, side of beans (definitely not from a can) and it came with a coleslaw, corn bread and a water.

Now everything was amazing hands down. The coleslaw was fresh, crisp and almost as good as KFCs. The corn bread was very moist while being light and fluffy. Typically corn bread is dense but this was some great corn bread and it was delicious paired with the beans.
Now to the brisket sandwich. OMG it's on a brioche bun and when you bite into it you wouldn't know you were biting into meat it's that tender. You have a nice Smoke ring and an amazing flavor. This is the kind of BBQ I'd expect from the south.
Now my buddy AJ got the pulled pork quesadilla and a side of Mac n Cheese and it had tortilla chips with sour cream and salsa.
His 1st bite was the Mac n Cheese and you could hear him hum while he chewed, he was definitely enjoying it. The pulled pork had a nice seasoning which was from a dry rub while cooking. He was just as happy with the tortilla chips (probably homemade)

When we finished I went to toss my box away and snap a picture of the menu for my next visit and the guy in the window asked if I'd tried the pickles? Uh pickles 😋
These homemade pickles were so fresh and delicious I could have easily eaten a jar of them alone but I had a few and saved some for AJ. As soon as I handed them to him he dove right in and finished them off.

Now while we were there Bentleys had something going on and everyone who was at Mr Ts were hella happy with everything they'd ordered and we were definitely happy with our meals.

I think from the time we ordered until it was handed to us was under 5 or 6 minutes and that was with 3 orders ahead of us, so it was really fast.
There's tables to sit at but we just ate in the jeep.

If you're in Southern Maine as a local or a tourist and your looking for some amazing BBQ then Mr Ts Smoke Shack in Arundel Maine is the place to go. The prices are more than reasonable, the food is amazing and your going to leave very full (wear your comfy clothes 😀) and satisfied

Great bbq - best I’ve had in Maine! I talked to the owner and we discussed Texas bbq vs Tennessee (Nashville) bbq. The blueberry bbq sauce was awesome and the pulled pork and brisket were cooked to perfection. He cooks a new batch daily! Really great flavor. Reasonable prices for great food. Two picnic tables if you want to eat there or take your food to go!

I had a chance to try Mr. T's last week. I had the chicken, pork, and brisket and it's excellent! The brisket was perfect! definitely recommend!

Mr. T's Smoke Shack catered my wedding and they did a fantastic job! The spread was great, and the service was phenomenal! We had ribs, pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, beans, mac and cheese, cornbread and more! It tasted great and was cooked to perfection! All at an honest price! Everyone at the wedding raved, and even to this day people rave about the food provided by Mr. T's Smoke Shack! For all your barbecue needs, I highly recommend Mr. T's Smoke Shack! And bring your appetite!!

One of the absolute best pieces of meatloaf I have had. Amazing flavor and nice and juicy. Make sure to add the moonshine BBQ Sauce and try some of the homemade pickles. Also if you buy the jar of pickles, it may or may not make it home. I’m not a pickle person but I ate the entire jar before I made it out of the parking lot!

EXCELLENT BBQ!!! If you're looking for great bbq spot, I HIGHLY recommend Mr T's!! I'm from Texas so I know good BBQ, and I have to say the brisket blew me away!! It was tender, juicy and had the best flavor! They knocked it out of the park!! Try the blueberry BBQ sauce, you won't be disappointed! They also have their own style of cornbread that beats any southern restaurants, HANDS DOWN! We also really enjoyed the smoked Meatloaf!!

Great barbecue brisket and pulled-pork, and excellent sauces. The location is convenient to the Kennebunks, Arundel, and Biddeford/Saco. The owner is super welcoming and he loves what he does. I'm looking forward to being a regular and seeing him at more local events.

I grew up eating BBQ in Texas. Mr Ts brisket is outstanding. Juicy and just the right amount of smoke. You're missing out, if you don't try it. Best BBQ in the area.

Amazing food and service. Pulled pork, brisket, potato salad, cole slaw, Mac n cheese were all 10/10. The owner was so nice and accommodating. Totally recommend! Perfect after the car show at Bentleys.
