I ordered through Etsy and then I found these reviews that were less than favorable. I contacted Bluffview regarding my order and we corresponded several times before my order shipped. I had no problems with communication. My order was received about 2 weeks after I ordered and plants look good and healthy. I am very pleased with my transaction.

What nice people! I placed an order on Etsy and realized that I should have ordered more than I did. I gave them a call and the very kindly offered to send the extra plants and let me know the difference in cost so I could send payment to them. That way we could keep things simple. I have every confidence that the order will arrive in a timely manner and will follow up if this doesn't happen.

I am leaving this review on Google instead of Etsy because they have 5 star Etsy reviews. I placed an order through Etsy on 02/21/2018. I ordered from this company because of the selection of native wildflowers, the price, and the shipping costs. I immediately received an automated order confirmation and the order was paid through Paypal. I got to wondering if there were more photos of the nursery, so I googled them, and found all of the horror stories of bad reviews after bad reviews. I contemplated cancelling my order because I didn't feel like losing 50 bucks. After I considered my options for a few days, I decided to wait it out and see if I heard anything from them (I really wanted some wild Phlox). I did not reach out or "harass" the gentleman about my order. I simply ordered and waited. On 03/07/2018, I received a tracking number with a note from the owner stating he was sorry for the shipping delay (Etsy stated it may be a week or two before the items shipped because plants are dug to order) Today is 03/09/2018, and I just opened the package that arrived at my doorstep. I ordered, paid, and received my items in less than a month. For a small business that digs their plants to order, I don't consider my experience bed at all! I would definitely order from them again. All of the items I ordered look to be in good shape. The dogwood trees have growth, and I've never even seen a Turk's Cap Lilly before, so I honestly have no idea if they are supposed to be this small. But this guy is in the business so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. I can't wait to plant and see how they all do!!! Thanks Bluffview Nursery!

I received the plant roots and rhizomes in two weeks and was notified when they were shipped. Looking forward to seeing the trillium and ferns sprout and grow soon. Will have to wait until then to see if I got the species ordered, but optimistic. Read the reviews of several dissatisfied customers. I expect this is a small operation and when a lot of orders come in, they are all working to process orders. I will probably order more later.

i ordered 10 pecan trees they came in about 10 days packed in moist package had ample roots these are 18-20 inchs tall they are doing well i highly recomend these folks

I'm a novice Gardner and had a million questions over the span of months. The answers were always detailed and coureous. The Vinca Minor that was sent arrived well packaged and healthy. I highly recommend this nursery. I don't know the name of the gentleman who's been helping me but he is tops.

Just got off the phone with Todd (the owner) these are the nicest most down to earth people you can meet this day and age. Great communication and service.

I had a good experience with these folks. Responsive to emails, plants arrived well packed and in good shape. Unknown yet whether they will grow, but from the way everything looked should be no problem. Shipping was just one day later than I had hoped, and plants arrived in 3 days. I am quite satisfied, particularly given the great prices.

I placed an order for a mix of native plants. My order was a couple of weeks late but communication was exceptional. They attributed the delay to an unexpected increase in order volume. My plants arrived in excellent condition. They are in the ground ready for some growth next year. I am glad I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

I ordered sufficient plants, according to the website, to avoid the $8.50 shipping charge. However, the shipping charge showed. The comment was posted on my order. The seller did not respond. Good news, at least my order was received. Agree with the other reviews, avoid this nursery.

Placed an order in late September of 2018. All plants arrived sick and eventually died. I complained to the seller and they sent me two more sick plants that also died.

Should be ZERO stars. This 'business' accepts orders without the intention of ever filling them. I placed an order early March 2024 and paid through Paypal, the sellers preferred method of payment. The ordered totaled $125.00 and i never received a confirmation or a shipping notice. (No customers receive them) Three months later and nothing has ever been sent. I am pursuing this through Paypal, who honestly should warn people who attempt to pay Bluff View Nursery of TENNESSEE. The seller appears to have many email addresses and likely as many Paypal accounts to continue this theft.

Bulbs were very soft when they arrived. Todd never replied to any on my emails about my concerns. I would advise not to use this company. There are excellent companies available for bulbs other than those a one.

It's a scam website. I ordered vinca minor and never received anything. I did receive an email saying it would be shipped after I emailed them about it. It was a mock shipping order that had a bogus USPS tracking number. So I can safely say it's not a matter them of forgetting to ship orders, they just hope people don't bother fighting for refunds. Luckily, I was able to use this against them and have my bank refund my account. Keep all your receipts!

Placed an order 2/19/23. Received confirmation and they charged PayPal. Waited until 3/15/23 to contact them. Two emails to Todd went unanswered along with a business phone that always has a busy signal. Contacted PayPal on 4/16/23, filed a complaint and was reimbursed my $56. I was deceived by positive reviews on Dave’s Garden website reviews back in February. I wish they had negative starts instead of a five start rating because Buff view and Dave’s Garden don’t even qualify for a one star rating. I hope the better business bureau and cyber crimes investigates this on going scam!

Placed order a month ago and still haven't received it. I emailed them 2 weeks after placing the order since there had not been an update. No response, tried calling them and usually went to busy signal. Otherwise they didn't respond. 5 days later got an email with the same tracking number but this time had been updated to "will ship in 24 hours". It's now been 11 days and it still says "will ship in 24 hours". I emailed them again a few days after the last email and again today but I never got a response and doubt I will. Of course their phone lines are still "busy" too. I've had to resort to opening a dispute with my credit card company because of course they charged my card the day I placed the order.

And another terrible review. This place is a scam. "Todd" will take your money, never send anything, never respond to email, and never pick up the phone. Stay away and file a BBB report too. PayPal seems to know this is happening because they automatically refunded my money no questions asked. Why do they still allow this scammer to use their network?

Really wanted this to work out because they had ephemerals at great prices. Like others have noted, ordered through website, paid via PayPal, received USPS tracking number, and then the package is still in limbo one month later. No response by email or phone. Still trying to get a refund through PayPal. Not sure if it's a scam or just incompetence but don't waste your time.

I placed 2 orders 3-4 days apart for spring ground cover. They did not respond to me when I inquired about delivery times. They said that the second order had shipped. So I asked about the first order again with no reply. After a week and a half I reached out for tracking info, again no reply. I contacted Etsy, gave them the information. Got a reply from Bluff View saying that they in fact never shipped my order and refunded money. They said that they were shipping my other order that day, again no shipping info and 2 weeks later no plants again. i am now contacting Etsy again and PayPal for refund. This company is the worst company to deal with and their business practices border on frogilent.
