Wow, what can I say! Phenomenal! For her early, everything still warm. Great variety of authentic Mexican bakery items. Prices very reasonable. Fast service. Clean. Friendly. Good parking. Easy to find. Hardest part is what to pick! You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to go again. Glad I stumbled on this hidden gem!

A Tucson staple for years! Always fresh, always friendly, and the best authentic Mexican pastries, tortillas, and treats! My family or coworkers' eyes light up every time they see me walk in with that signature brown box!

So soft and fresh. The best conchas I've ever had. Donuts were delicious. Cheap prices. An absolute must if you ever visit Tucson!

Their donuts are award-winning and incredible. I greatly appreciate their low prices and hope that one day they open up a location central or east. Every single other donut place in town is a rip-off and I would gladly buy multiple boxes of donuts every month from them if they were closer

Went in and ordered a few different pastries. My husband and I tried them in the car, and they were so good I had to go right back in to buy some more. Embarrassing, but the employees were nice and everything tastes so fresh and delicious! Seriously, so good!

Fresh and delicious! A friend told me about La Estrella, and when I got there and saw a line of more than 25 people, I knew this was going to be a good experience. They have so many choices, just with the baked goods, but they also sell menudo and beef tamales, as well. The apple empanada was my favorite, but the pumpkin and cherry ones were good, too. I recommend this place for whatever pastry you are looking for!

The absolute best in Tucson. At my work someone brought Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts but when the employees saw my plain brown box, they immediately asked if it was from Estrellas... And then that was a wrap. My donuts were gone...

So awesome! My son took me here said it was the best and I had to get some of the pastries before I left back home to Florida. So I bought pastries and tortillas. Yes fresh tortillas. He was so dang right these are awesome pastries. We ate them on our trip back to the East coast. I enjoyed the flavor. My younger son absolutely loved all the different ones, we shared so we could experience each different kind and what they tasted like. Thank you for making our taste buds happy.

The best pan dulce ever. And they don't add milk to the flour when they make their sweet bread nor donuts for those that are lactose intolerant. Plus those that have nut, legume, or any type of tree allergies this is the place to go get your Mexican sweet bread and regular bread. Their menudo is also great!

This is the original location of the 'La Estrella Bakery Inc,' which also can be found at the Mercado district. The display cases are filled with all kinds of goodies -- both savory and sweet. Don't miss Mexican cold drinks, while you are there. Fantastic tortilla breads. Definitely worth of a drive to the Southside.

It was our first time visiting and you could tell that this was a popular place, as there was a big line! The woman behind the counter was so personable and helpful in recommending pastries for us to try! We tested out some of the sweets on the drive home and they were great!

I'm vacationing in the area and decided to stop here for a little snack. The conchas are the best I've ever had. The price is very affordable for only a 1$ and there is many other treats for a low price. I recommend going here especially over any chain.

Pastries were absolutely amazing. I got a pumpkin empanada and couple other ones (I can’t remember the names) but they were tasty and fresh. A1 service!!

Very busy but very quick. Pastry is always nice and warm and melts in your mouth. Staff is very friendly and take there time with each customer. Did not feel rushed great place

1st time here, it was a bit of a drive for me, well worth it and the bakery lady was very kind and sweet, she offer my nephew and I a donut each as a 1st vistors💙💙

Always stop by here when in town. Top spot in town for all the best baked items and tortillas. White and red menudo if that is something you like. Many bring a pot.
