Great 3 hour hiking overall. You can teach to Windy Peak with 9000 ft altitude.

Burro loop trail was a beautiful hike. Definitely get some elevation.

Direct access to the Burro trail which is about 5 miles. Light use for being within an hour of the Denver metro.

Must pay for a CO state park pass.

Great place to start on the Burro and Mountain Lion Trails by bike or on foot! It's a climb, and you'll definitely get a workout, so come prepared for rock, dirt, weather, and water. There is a restroom at this location and plenty of picnic tables. There is no fee station, though a pass is required for day use of this park.

Golden Gate is a gem. So many trails to pick from and something for everyone. Love trailing running here as you can put together long runs without crossing many tracks. Fun in the winter too. Great places to snowshoe. Remember it’s a state park. Bring your pass or ten dollars in cash! I’ll be back here soon.

Popular enough area there should be a pay station, but there isn't. Make sure you stop elsewhere to get a pass.

Short pleasant hike with nice views and some historical buildings. Be forewarned - a LOT of ticks!
