Great, moderate trail. Visiting from East Coast and not used to altitude. Took my family of four about 3 hours to do the loop from the parking lot, to Panorama Point, and back. We went left at the start of the loop and were glad for the flat stretches. Bring plenty of water. Saw lots of birds, wild flowers (including columbines), no moose. Arrived at parking lot at 8 am on a Friday with plenty of spaces. Lot was full when we got back at 11:30 am. There’s a self serve machine to buy a day pass for $10 via credit card. There are bathrooms and water at the parking lot (which is also a campsite area).

Beautiful hike! There are a lot of different paths to branch off to on the trail, so be mindful of where you’re going. It was also a little rockier and took a little longer in some parts than we expected. Gorgeous hike nonetheless!

Fun (fairly easy) hike about 4 miles with a great vista around the halfway point. If you end up back at the campground near the start then you didn't make the right turn. Also, once you get to the top you sort of have to cut through the parking lot to get back on the trail for the way back down! :)

Moderate hike with shade. We started at the campsites and it was a little hard to find the trail but google maps helped. Highly recommend. Saw lots of dogs.

Beautiful views of the continental divide! The trail is a little snowy still in areas, but packed down so you don't need any extra traction unless that's your thing.

Love this trail. Enough up and down to get the heart pumping and a beautiful area to hike in.

The trail was full of very well packed snow when we went, and it was easy to follow the trailhead. In the winter, make sure to wear spikes on your water proof boots

Great day for a hike. It was longer than expected but it was so beautiful. Our puppy was totally pooped after it though.

Great trail to view the Divide. Perfect for micro spikes in the winter and leaf peeping in the autumn.

Prachtige wandeling.
