Stopped by for some quick stitches after an incident with some broken glass. Staff was courteous and friendly! Had me in and out of there in no-time at all!

My nurse mentioned something about being a bikini-snowmobile champion? I don't know what that's all about, but it was a very interesting conversation to say the least!

Ok, so i've had a bad experience or two, like everyone else i'm sure. But after the way I was treated yesterday, with the utmost care, respect and importantcy, this place, and the doctors and staff involved in my care and treatment, were absolutely awesome and wonderful! After being dismissed twice by the ER in Mauston last weekend, I walked in to the ER yesterday and they were on the ball with everything! They handled themselves extremely well and professional! I am extremely impressed! Dr. Robertson, the general surgeon, was on his game! I have nothing bad to say about this place and take back what i've previously said! Needless to say, 5 star rating all the way after my experience there yesterday and today! Dr. Erickson and Dr. Cavaness are both good doctors as well! I'm pretty much at a complete loss for words over the utmost and outstanding way my situation was professionally handled and into surgery in less the 3 hours from walking in the door, that includes multiple tests and labs! I recommend this place to anyone!

I delivered my first 2 babies here and my 3rd elsewhere and after delivering at the other hospital I have to come back and give this hospitals birthing center a 5 star! I wish I could have delivered my 3rd baby here. Its never a comfortable stay after delivering a baby, but what the hospital does for the patients really does make a difference.

I think it has some of the finest most professional nurses in the nation .

I went because my cold was not improving. Nurse told me to take robitussin "dm", she put emphasis on the dm. I told her i need an antibiotic, i dont believe robitussin will work...get xrays, then given a five day prescription of antibiotic...1 pill a day...1 day left and i feel im going down hill or getting worse. So many questions like why wasnt blood work dine or any other ramped up procedures that could have been done at a cost of the nurses time or and my insurance. I just don't understand...and then i do. Merikkka

Staff seems professional and knowledgeable but some of their policies are so restrictive it limits the services available to some citizens. A simple outpatient procedure will be denied for no reason other than patient needs to take a cab home. I am aware of the necessity of CYA but this hospital has apparently never heard of "first, do no harm."

Three times out of three we went to the ER and all times where a tragedy.
The last time was wife had a stroke and they did NO Mri for one, and after doing NOTHING we where told she was faking and should be installed in the fruit bin.
The following day doctors that included primary came in and said sure enough there was TOTAL blockage of one of her MAIN arteries in her neck.
As of "soon" she is going into surgery if the meds do NOT do a better job.

I gave a one star with GREAT anger all because a 0 (ZERO) star is not possible.

If you are wanting to die you should be rushing to get to this JOKE of a hospital that should be renamed Kevorkian.

The view of a pond that has no real amount of any fish is not a real reason to go to this place because you will not be staying long because you will be worm food.

Unless you're having a child, I would avoid this place at all costs. Dangerous misdiagnosis, staff playing on their phones constantly, just awful all around care.

I would pay the extra money for the ambulance to take you to LaCrosse immediately because 3 hours after you arrive in Tomah they are gonna send you to LaCrosse anyway.

People are being turned away for treatment after the pain pill prescription problem at the VA hospital in Tomah. 3 people that I personally knew has died horribly in the last few months. They were told its one thing the go home or to Lacrosse and then they die. If you're hurt really bad or bleeding to death go to Lacrosse or Mauston.
