Taqueria Cinco De Mayo

I am definitely putting this as a #1 close to home for me and so good! I didn't mind waiting because fast food isn't made with love like this place is! They are super friendly as well! Never had a problem with their food and eat here nearly 3 times a week. Their hamburgers are the best! Everything is made fresh from tortillas to salsa and even their horchata. They have breakfast burritos as well; to skip any wait time best to order ahead because they are always busy! People truly love their food.

Update to those complaining about the wait time, they move fast back there and the reason other people get their food before you is because they called ahead. This place is friendly, I watched them move fast to get orders out. It is sad to get such a low rating only because you think that you deserve your food first and faster than others. They have amazing food, clean restaurant, friendly service and all around popular spot to eat.

Love this place! All of their food is yummy and the employees are super friendly and sweet. You get your food fresh and fast and they have cold beer. Will definitely be back!

Menu was filled with great options, the tortas looked delicious. I had the quesadilla plate which was super filling for $9. Carne asada was good, but I would get something different next time. Flavor was pretty greasy but still a hit. Salsas we’re delicious and fresh. Beans and rice were delicious and homemade tasting. All of the ingredients were really fresh! The tacos for the price, you can’t beat! Super flavorful as well. Horchata was balanced and the best way to wash down the spice.

Location is really clean and theres a nice public bathroom. Service was great and they accept all forms of payment. Overall, a perfect quick stop to fill you up and delicious flavors.

Just ordered tonight and OMFG I'M FULL!

I had a cheese burger/bacon and fries, my boyfriend had fiesta fries, super burrito, and a cheese burger. The food was great, customer service amazing, and the cook was hilarious. BTW normally I don't have bacon on my burgers because the bacon is either stuck together, slabbed on, over cooked, and small. Not my bacon on my burger it was PERFECT! LMAO I'm bragging about bacon, but it was that good.

Earlier this afternoon my mom and I had lunch here. We both ordered the same thing, 3 crunch chicken taco combo w/rice and beans. I have no complaints about the food what's so ever.

The service was fast, all smiles, greeted us, and I was even taught the Spanish word for "no onions."

The menu selection is really good, big portions, price wise is really good. Basically you'll come here hungry, leave full, and not feel like you've blown a lot of money.

I strongly recommend that each time you come here try something different from the menu. Cheese burgers, fries, soft/crunchy tacos, burritos, and many more stuff that I can't spell.

I've been coming here for years, and never have I been disappointed. Great food, nice employees, and wonderful service. What's even better about this place, it's only down the street from me

I had the chile relleno, once it was a little cooler it was very delicious. I did burn my mouth with the cheese that goes inside that chile relleno. I was super hungry and didn't wait for it to cool down. The rice and beans were also on point.

Wonderful Food! Recommend the taco salad and their fish tacos!

I really enjoyed my whole experience today at taqueria cinco de mayo. They were slammed busy. I ordered shrimp, fish, pastor, chicken and chile verde tacos. The fish and shrimp tacos were on point. Great value they were loaded full of big shrimp and fish. Overall we were very pleased. The service was friendly and fast. They included a perfect amount of hot sauce and gave the option for fresh or canned jalapeños which was nice. Great taco spot I stoked its close to home.

I was my first time eating, it was very good food. I eat some taco birria and fiesta fries, I think that's what it call. But there so good. I was surprised since is small place, the food is amazing.

Service is great here, always friendly and quick to take your order. Been here twice, tried the taquitos and birria burrito. Both were excellent! A very filling meal for a good price.

I’m not from yuba city but ever since I came here this has been my favorite place to have breakfast / lunch or dinner the food is always good and the prices are the best it’s a win win 😎💪🏽🏆

The BEST queso birria tacos on the planet!! Everything is good here, best taqueria in the area, hands down. They make Menudo on the weekends and serve it in a huge bowl! It is amazing, my wife and kids ask for it every time. Very reasonable prices, great service, even offers military discount. Love this place!

I have NEVER been unsatisfied, ever! This is a little gem of a family run Restaurant and I’m so grateful I live a short 5 minutes away. A coworker told my husband to try them, they are our families favorite! You get heaping servings of meat, a ton of delicious cheese, their Carnitas Fiesta Fries is my go to order. If I could afford to eat out everyday, trust me, this is where I’d go!

This place is AMAZING. It is always fresh and delicious. Everything is good and made with love. Moved out to Plumas Lake this year and this is definitely a hidden gem. If you have parking anxiety like I do, the parking is very small BUT the food is totally worth the anxiety attack.
I recommend the Flautas.
The wait for the food is kinda long but it’s worth the wait.

After a long day it’s always nice to enjoy a nice meal. I happened to stumble across this place on my way back from Oroville and give it a shot. I ordered the Carnitas Super Burrito. While the super doesn’t include avocado they exchanged the sour cream that did come with the super for avocado at no additional cost. Plus the burrito was only $7.00 most places would’ve been closer to $10.
I proceeded to place my order use the restroom and by the time I was out my food was ready.

This little secret spot is definitely one you need to visit! The customer service is A plus! The food is outstanding! The consistently of their wonderful food is impressive! Every single time I've visited this gem of a restaurant (and we go twice a week at least) the food has been premium! And did I mention that the prices are more than fair! We generally order two super burritos and a side of rice and we can get out there fir less than $15! So happy we uncovered this wonderful spot!

Food is delicious. Breakfast burritos are hands down best I've ever had. Ive ordered many times and always great!! Also had their hamburgers, fries and flauta's, all delicious. Service is always quick and friendly, even delivery has never taken more than 30 minutes.

Love this place! They have an amazing selection of Mexican dishes, giant burritos and tasty keto (lettuce wrap) tacos. I come for the lingua and cabeza! Call ahead to avoid the wait. Birria tacos are also delicious!

10/10 horchata is clearly homemade I got a chicken burrito and it was very good the chicken was nice and soft. lady at front desk was very nice , great service would recommend!!
