Absolutely love Kevin's! My husband and I have had our vehicles here a few times now and every time has been an absolute pleasure. This most recent visit, my car was having all kinds of issues. They thoroughly inspected the car and gave me helpful suggestions, told me what was worth fixing and what just didn't make financial sense to do on an older car. I really appreciate their honesty. The items that were fixed were done well. And of course, it is always a pleasure to see Axel! :)

I had an issue with my f150 u could not figure out and thankfully Kevin himself was able to diagnose it and it turned out I didn’t have that big of a problem after all. Not the cheapest but they are very good.

Honest repair shop with quality service. Won't charge for things you don't need. Need to schedule in advance, but work is always done quickly.

They weren’t able to help me with my car because I have a pain in the ass Volkswagen Beetle, but while calling around looking to get transmission work done, whoever picked up the phone was very friendly and was able to help point me in another direction which was so helpful. Thank you. 💓

My fiancés car had a cooling issue, so we brought it in. They diagnosed one problem, fixed it, but the symptoms were still occurring. They were able to fit us in before we moved and take a second look at it to determine what the additional problems were and offer advice on how to move forward. Awesome shop and nice people.

These guys are insane. I had a check engine light come on and took it to autozone to get the code ran. It was an EVAP system issue so I took it to Kevin’s. They found a line that a rodent chewed through and replaced it and the light went away. The light came back on a day later and they let me come back without an appointment. They found another part that had some moisture build up likely due to the chewed line and they replaced that part. They tested the system multiple times and it passed. They let me know that they took off $250 worth in labor for the repair for the inconvenience. The light went away but came back a day later again. They once again let me come back without an appointment. This time they ordered a bunch of parts in advance and found a valve that opened in both directions causing the the system to fail only while driving. They didn’t charge me at all and 100% lost money on this repair but did it anyways. If I needed an open heart surgery I would go to Kevin’s first. Great customer service and they genuinely want to fix the vehicle.

RE: 1991 C4 Corvette with a significant oil leak and electrical drain: usually I take this car exclusively to Corvettes Unlimited, however, they became backlogged and I needed someone to fix the car. After waiting two months and researching various places around town, I decided to give Kevin’s a try based on their Google reviews which included some people I knew. I’m thrilled to say they did a great job. The C4 Corvette is unusual and I haven’t had a problem since they gave it back to me.

Kevin's pulls through once again. Seriously the best auto shop in Huntsville.

Wife's check engine light has been on for a month, Subaru dealership charged $800 to ultimately tell us they don't know what's wrong and probably just need to get a whole new engine.

Kevin quickly diagnosed the issue within 24 hours, cleared a technical service bulletin that Subaru dealership overlooked regarding the ECU and we've been good to go for over a month now.

The A/C in my VW Beetle was not working. I dropped my car off on a Thursday expecting to leave it over the weekend in order for the part to repair it to come in. I got a call the next day saying the car was ready to be picked up. The A/C is super cold now and the final price was less than I was quoted. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if I have any further problems. Great service and attitude from staff!

The service was quick and friendly, I had no issues with getting my car there and back. I’ll trust these guys for all of my future auto-repairs.

I thought I would never find another great mechanic after my last one in Tampa, but Kevin and his crew did a fantastic job. The service was thorough and at a fair price. I was kept informed through the process. I had a problem with a rear bearing and thought I had brake issues. I was told there was no problem with the brakes and the bearing was fixed by the next day even though the part was ordered out of state. I appreciate the honesty about the brakes and love that my truck is running better than it ever has. I highly recommend their services.

These guys are awesome! I have been hunting for a good mechanic in this area. I read several posts on Facebook that had tons of people recommending Kevin's so I decided to give them a shot. Upon entering their very clean waiting room, I was quickly greeted by a friendly lady who checked me in. I worked for a while in the waiting room while they assessed my car (they had a desk in the waiting room which was awesome!). The gentleman (I think it was Kevin?) who came to tell me what was wrong with my car was friendly and explained things where I could understand without being condescending. They had my car fixed faster than the estimate and for cheaper than I was expecting. They just did an oil changed and fixed my brakes, but I swear my car is running better somehow. I'm not sure what they did, but it's accelerating easier and idling more quietly. While I was waiting, I could overhear them talking in their office area. You can tell this group has a family atmosphere. It felt like being back in the small town mechanic shop where I grew up. I will most definitely be back and will tell everyone I know to go there as well!

Loved that I was able to request a time over their website, they were quick to get me scheduled. Very friendly in the office with the cutest dog in the back. Kevin was straight to the point with checking my car out and didn't pressure me into getting anything done that wasn't necessary.

Great mechanic and totally reliable. I came to Kevin's after a franchise auto repair screwed up my rack and pinion steering repairs. He did a great job finding the issue and making the repair quickly. I recently brought him another car and he was on schedule and did an awesome job on repairs.

I have used Kevin's Auto for all my auto repair needs for three years. Over these three years I have needed them for a variety of repairs: A/C actuator replacement, O2 sensors, brakes, alignments, new plugs, and moonroof motor replacement.

I appreciate their honesty and professional knowledge. They have always diagnosed the issue correctly the first time, and thoroughly explain the planned repair (and quote) before starting repair work. They have always completed the job at or under the initial quote. They answer any and all questions after the repair, and provide excellent customer support even after you leave.

Car trouble is stressful and almost always unexpected. The peace of mind Kevin and his team provide is worth every penny. I won't use any other mechanic in the Tennessee Valley area. If you are looking for a dependable mechanic, look no further.

Kevin has helped us out 3 times in the last few months. The service is fantastic, everyone is very friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. He saved us many hundreds of dollars (and probably a couple day's time) on our van by being able to do work without removing the cylinder cover even though Honda insisted it had to be done that way. So nice to find a mechanic I feel I can trust!

I took my newly-acquired car to Kevin with A/C issues. I had diagnosed it myself to the system having a leak, but I was unable to pinpoint it. I usually do my own repairs, but I wasn't familiar with this vehicle and was pressed for time, so I sought help. Being fairly new to the area and unfamiliar with local mechanics, I decided to try Kevin based on his reviews, and I couldn't be happier with that decision. As I explained the problem; rather than blow me off as an amateur, he attentively listened to the steps I had taken, then followed up with questions and suggestions about possible causes and how he planned to address the problem. I was impressed both by his knowledge and by the way he treated me, so I engaged him to do the job.

Kevin not only had my car repaired in less than 1 day; he took the extra step of calling me with a couple of status updates prior to completing the job. I asked him to check a couple of other systems as I am planning a road trip this weekend and didn't have time to shake down the car. He thoroughly followed up on every request and repaired another potential problem.

Kevin sets the standard and other shops would be wise to take note - this is how you operate an auto repair business! This was as good of an experience as I've ever had in 40+ years of owning/maintaining a car, and I am very pleased to have a reliable place to turn to if I'm pressed for time or in over my head. Kevin's diagnosis was thorough, the repair was expertly done, the price was very reasonable, and I was treated as a partner in the repair of my car. Bravo!
