Elder Options has helped my Mom’s placement and follow up at the Assisted Care Facility. I work in partnership with the agency to provide a safe and healthy place for my Mom.

I would highly recommend Elder Options, Inc. They provide respite services for us for our daughter who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. The care providers are AMAZING! We have 4 that we enjoy and who genuinely love our daughter as much as we do. The care providers are professional and are eager to help. They will even help with some housework, without us asking, which is nice as a working parent with 2 kids.
We have also used Elder Options, Inc. to help with caring for our grandmother after she had a stroke and needed assistance when she was discharged from the hospital. They provided great companionship to my grandmother, while also making sure her needs were met.

When my father went into hospice, I felt alone in his care. I had no idea what I was doing...I just knew I loved my father and wanted to be there for him in his time of need. When things got dire, I felt especially helpless. Elder Options provided us a team of care professionals who were kind, compassionate, and more importantly, fantastically skilled. Our in-home careworkers provided vital experienced help that gave our family piece of mind, knowing my father, our home, and our family were well cared for. After arranging my mother-in-law's transportation to a medical appointment 3 weeks in advance, the day before the appointment we got an email from a female Elder Options employee stating that the person they scheduled to drive was not available. Later the same day we got another email from the same person that, "I can take her, no problem." When we got the credit card statement we saw that instead of the $184 ($125 for 3 hours of service plus fuel) the charge should have been, it was $450. We called Elder Options to ask for the invoice, which should have been sent but wasn't, and were surprised to see that we were charged $125 per hour for 3 hours, instead of the $125 which includes 3 hours, as advertised in the brochure. A phone call to EO produced the information that the substitute driver "bills out at a higher rate". Had we been informed in advance, we would not have agreed to that, of course. Fortunately, the credit card company agreed. As well, they attempted to charge us $165 to establish a Docusign account, which we already have. We easily found another service to transport my mother.

I have read your response to my complaint and my honest account of events. Originally I was disappointed and annoyed, but now you're making me mad. I received an invoice only after I requested it a week after the service. It does not detail any discount, "substantial" or otherwise. You (over)charged my elderly mother's credit card, hoping she would pay the monthly bill without noticing the line item charge from you, having not sent her or me the invoice. You conducted yourself dishonestly and unethically. I have the invoice and the complete email exchange to support every word I have said, which I sent to the credit card company, and will share it with anybody who requests it.

Beyond rude at the door. Totally not a good feel. I live in this community, and was amazed at their rudeness. Good news for the competitors.
