Gold Country Senior Living

I visited Gold County Senior Living because I was looking for a place for my mom. First, the people who work there were all very friendly and open. The people who live there were also kind and welcoming too. Repeatedly, residents would stop and tell me how happy they are to live there.
After my mom moved in, I had dinner in the dining room with my mom. Not only was the food tasty, people came by our table and welcomed my mom and encouraged her as she adjusts to her new living arrangements.
Jill and the other staff are awesome. I’m really glad we chose Gold Country. It’s working out really well!

I toured recently and was impressed with the staff. I was warmly greeted and shown around. The food smelled delicious!

There are so many friendly, competent, caring staff members--I can't name them all, but from the dining room servers to the activities staff, Gold Country is a desirable place to live. The food is surprisingly good, served with class, and with attention to nutrition as well as taste. I am glad to bring my friend to play piano for residents twice a week. We enjoy the atmosphere.

So blessed to have Gold Country Health Center as a leader in our community for skilled nursing care and assisted living services. AMAZING is all I can say. RNs 24 hours a day. TOP physical and occupational therapist. The BEST Administrator and Clinical Director around. And a team of amazing people working to provide the best of care, the best of humanity and out perform the surrounding area facilities. 5 STAR all the way. In the photo left to right. My parents lived there for 17 years. I felt very comforted with them there. Some people complain, and of course it's hard, but your life is what you make it, and my parents did just that. They were very active there. My dad died in the skilled nursing section 4 years ago tomorrow and couldn't have had better care. I just love all the employees there. I'm thankful you were there for my parents. It's a wonderful community.

I moved into GCRC 1 1/2 years ago. I selected this facility because I already knew a number of the residents liqving here but the price per month was the most reasonable of the places I visited.

Other places might be more luxurious because the the buildings are newer. However, I have found my apartment to be in better shape than any place I have ever moved into before and it also remains that now.
the only remnant I can see if that tells me that the building is 30 years old it's the stove which I have not used in a year and a half. I live in Independent living and have one of the smallest one bedroom apartments available. I was living 5,000 mi away from here and apartment sight unseen and I have no regrets.

The staff really cares about residents here. COVID-19 restrictions
started, have cramped social gatherings. It's tough sometimes but I'm grateful that there have been no problems here.

I really enjoyed eating in the dining room where if you don't like the special meals they had a menu . I really look forward to it things going normal. Socializing is what I like best-- talking over games (pinochle, etc
), dinner, outside seating, and going on outings, etc.

This place is pet friendly. I was not able to get a ground floor apartment because they are reserved for dogs. But my two cats really like going out on the balcony.

I am a Life Assistant for a Wonderful Man residing at Gold Country Retirement Community. I can't commend them enough...All of them!!! You all contribute to my Client/Hero's happiness. The positive atmosphere...the "caring community feeling " is a blessing. I wish there were more Elder Neighborhoods like you!!! But, we're blessed to have found you. Love

The most conscientious, caring, beautiful facility around. My dad feels extremely fortunate to live at Gold Country and I feel blessed knowing how well he’s cared for!

I El Dorado Roses go there when invited. Really enjoy visiting with the people that live there. And also attend mixer for El Dorado Chamber of Commerce.

Gold Country Retirement Community is a positive caring multi-level senior community. I am privileged to work here.

My Mom lives there and loves it. I'm​ 68 and am seriously considering moving there too.
