A+ service. I had the pleasure of working with Blade. I actually saw reviews of Tait Yachts on Google and saw his name mentioned. As the previous reviews said, he is a pleasure to work with. I also had the opportunity to speak with Bruce who was also very helpful.
Blade spent more time with me than he needed and also gave a bunch of other helpful advice regarding the boat and boating in general. He was very up front about the positives and negatives of the particular boat I purchased. Upon seeing the boat and doing the survey, I felt the boat lived up to or exceeded my expectations.

I recently sold my 30' cruiser through Tait Yachts. Blade was the broker who worked with me. We had some issues with selling the boat, but we worked through them together, and in the end got a good price for the boat, while the purchasers were also very pleased. My dealings with Bruce and Danielle date back to the 1980s, when I’d often chartered a beautiful old yacht named Gallant Lady for half- and full-day cruises for guests weekending at my first Hamptons home. The Taits were always very helpful, flexible, knowledgeable and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them on each charter.

I recently purchased a used 350 Carver Mariner through Tait Yachts. Blade Hoovenkamp did a great job of of making himself available to answer questions, supply documentation and provide helpful references for Captains, Surveyors, etc. He was also very professional as an agent, and while he was working to get his client the best possible deal, he also had the proper rational awareness of what was needed as a go between to get the deal done.
