I've been going to Apple Hill for 30+ years. There are bake shops, crafters, fresh fruits and vegetables, food, wineries and so much more. The atmosphere is refreshing, fun, happy, exciting and peaceful. The Fall/Winter time is the busiest time of the year. Some places are closed during the Spring and Summer, but the ones that are open offer lots of summer fruits and you'll always find great Apple pie and other fruit pies. Apple Hill is an amazing beautiful experience. You definitely will be taking a lot of pictures.

Like visiting family. This is a great place, just don't come on Saturdays, they are closed.
They have THE BEST cream cheese apply pie YUM!!!

We visit on the first Sunday of September, always. There aren't as many apple varieties available at this time, but there are certainly enough to make the visit worthwhile. They also have pears and berries available. The Bakeshop is magical, offering so many unique treats (slice of Dutch sour cream apple-berry pie, anyone?). We've also visited in October and bought plenty of specialty frozen pies and served them for Thanksgiving. Whether you're visiting for fruit or baked goodies or beautiful scenery and a picnic, you won't regret a stop here.

One of my favorites in the apple hill area of growers. I always get a 3lb bag of honeycrisp apples and Bartlett pears. Delicious. They have a bakery/restaurant that serves excellent lunch combos and apple pie slices with tasty cinnamon sauce. Plenty of seating is available out of the sun. A wonderful day trip for the family

What a wonder time. Only made it to a few farms as there is so much to see and do. Will definitely be making this trip again. Also, thank you so much as we came on Nevada Day not knowing it is celebrated there, and was so welcomed as we are from Reno. ❤❤

Lots of great things to eat as well as a museum to visit with several historic exhibits. Across the street is also a green area to explore...look for the water wheel, bridge and waterfall. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

Apple Hill consists of many farms. Each has its own character/activities. Try different farms, bakeries, wineries to see what fits you and/or your family. Some are more for adults some geared more towards kids. I love the desserts at Larsen Apple Barn (single servings or whole pie) Larson also has bags and boxes of a variety of very good apples at reasonable prices.

This area is called "Apple Hill" for a reason! There are so many farms to choose from, with some offering children rides, some with a variety of vendor's to choose from, and several with Bakeries & frozen goods.
Pick up the farm guide from any of the many farms along the way!

If you live in the Sacramento/Placer/El Dorado counties and don't know about this place, what rock have you been hiding under, my friend? They have the best stock of apples, other fruits, jams, baked goods, etc. And the atmosphere is just so fun and family friendly. If you've never been, go early in the morning (8-10am) and you'll never regret it!

I have driven to Apple Hill for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. I go to Larsens for apple pie and apples too. I can't remember the name of the first place I stop but they have great caramel apples. Can't wait until next year.

Apple Hill is a must stop. I usually go in October for great apple products like: the apple cider doughnuts at rainbow orchard, apple pie Carmel apples from Abel's, apple pie cheesecake from delfino farms. I go on black Friday to get a Christmas tree at high hill ranch.

Have made going to Apple Hill an every year excirsion. Able to find heirloom varieties of apples! Baked goids are amazing, hard ciders are great gifts, and some also have craft booths as well. I like to go in mid-late October, but check websire to see when your favourite apples are available.

Love the Apple Hill Growers. Had a birthday apple pie. And it was great. I was alone on my birthday and feeling down. I got warm treatment and really appreciate that. LARSEN'S BARN is the best.

We enjoyed our time this year at apply hill. we found new farms to visit next year. It would have been more interesting to have a few more place open, but maybe we can visit in earlier next year.
