Bud's Bar

Stopped in after business for a late lunch on a Wednesday. I've heard good things, and we've passed by too many times not to stop, so we stopped. It wasn't too busy, but about 4 or 5 tables. We were greeted by the bartender, that was a good guy and easy to talk to. We ordered a couple of beers, an olive smash burger and turkey bacon ranch wrap. Food came out fairly quickly. The food was hot and crisp, beer was nice and cold everything you could want from a local bar! You can tell this place has a lot of history and pride, be sure to stop in instead of drive by!!

We eat here quite often and love having a restaurant/bar in town again. The food is always good, and reasonably priced. I love the grilled chicken salad, and the reuben sandwich. I also appreciate that they'll do a grilled cheese for my toddler since he usually eats four bites.

Very much enjoyed the Bud's Burger, 2nd best burger in the county!

I have always had great service, great grub, great vibes at this place, outdoor patio is nice at night, see lots of locals here too.

My wife and I always feel welcomed here and the wait staff are so friendly and the best. They're so attentive and make you feel like family. We have so much fun with everyone and meet new people every week on Saturday night karaoke. Eric the KJ/DJ is fantastic and makes you also feel welcomed and like family. When people refer to a hometown bar, Buds fits it to a T. Highly recommend this wonderful place. Food and drink prices are great!

Work there 3 nights a week and love the food. Karaoke every Saturday night too with DJ Bubble

Since re-opening….this place is fantastic. We had Phillip serving us who was excellent! He anticipated when we needed drinks, super friendly, laid back and the food was really great! 10/10 for their olive burger. fries are yummy! Definitely would recommend this family owned restaurant. Its small town bar atmosphere makes it homey and friendly! We brought a group of 6 adults and two toddlers with ease. 👍🏽👍🏽 Thanks Phillip!

Nice place to grab some food and beverages. Shared some fried mushrooms & pretzel bites with friends before ordering pattymelts and seasoned fries. Everything was hot and delicious. Reasonably priced with good service. I'm definitely planning on going back. Noticed the week before Christmas had plenty of activities to come and partake in, like an ugly Christmas sweater night, live music, etc. It's nice to have a fun place to hang out in Schoolcraft, Mi.

Good food and awesome drink specials. Was recently there on a Friday, and I got a bucket of 5 locals lights for 11 bucks. It was such a good deal. The waitresses are super stars as well. It's an awesome classic bar in downtown Schoolcraft. Would highly recommended. If you've never been your missing out

Food was great and we were asked more than once if everything was ok. One person in our group said Caesar salad was too spicy so they replaced it with customer suggested substitute. They had 2 black boards with beer prices. I think every bar should post drink prices not surprise customers on Bill

Could NOT! Set my burger down after the first bite! Definitely if you’re traveling through you need to stop by.

Had a wonderful time. Very welcoming! Drinks are wonderful. Although I didn't eat , the aroma was awesome! 👍👍👍

Stopped by for lunch. Had the Bacon blue burger. It was really good. Not a frozen burger. Just the right amount of fries served. Prices were very reasonable. Great place to stop by for a sandwich and a drink.

Stopped in for a quick beer, decided to eat. So my husband got the last walleye and it was absolutely amazing. Extremely mild. Delicious. You should definitely stop in. I had a chicken Caesar salad, also very very delicious. Our bartender/server (Shelly), wonderful, busy yet attentive, went above and beyond. Stopped in again. Ribs are AMAZING, steak Caesar wrap very good. Still 5 stars. Waiter is great

We have been to Buds Bar twice since opening under new ownership. And I have to say the food was excellent. The service was fantastic. Our waiter Skyler was great. He was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. You won’t be disappointed.

Fried chicken sandwich was great! The fries are delicious! We also had cheese curds and those were the best we've had. Very clean and cozy environment. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

Great home town bar. Waitress staff is great. But they do not know what a smashburger is. The hamburger was good though
