Somerset Landing

Good but busy landing on the St. Croix River.

Nice launch. Need a suv or a truck to launch here. Multiple spots to launch from. Lots of parking space.

Public boat launch and park on east side of Saint Croix river directly across the river from Big Marina and Williams O'Brien State Park in MN. This is a beautiful location with some shore line trails, lavatories and plenty of room for parking, great location for a party of up to probably about 8 people. I find this to be a good spot to start and end a long bike ride. It is at the bottom of about a 1.5 mile long hill which is not too steep of a climb to start out a good ride on the bicycles.

There's not a lot of places to get on the river so we take what we can get. The river is pretty darn low. Probably bring a 4x4 to launch.

It's a great place to fish and chill, taking a family out this summer through this landing.
