The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy

Great small town pharmacy with all you need except the crowds. Nice bunch of people work there. Professional and fast. Good at reminding me of refills

If I could give ten stars I would. I had spent several hours dealing with getting a med filled at Walmart Pharmacy, which involved being on hold for a total of 45 minutes and being told the Dr recently renewed her medical license which conflicted with getting my med filled. Everyone I tell this story to look at me like I am crazy, but this was what I was told. I then decided to go to The Medicine Shop, and what do you know, they actually filled the med and on top of that I was treated with the utmost respect. Although getting the med transferred to the Pharmacist at The Medicine Shoppe was difficult and he also was put on hold for 20 minutes. When he finally got through, another pharmacist( from Walmart) calls me and tells me Walmart did fill it ( even though I had been told it couldn't be filled )and if I still wanted to transfer the script. Again a bizarre situation, to call me at the other Pharmacy while I am waiting ,to ask me if I still wanted to transfer the med. While she is kind she proceeds to tell me there was an issue with her boss not being available which added to the issues getting my med filled. By that point I didn't care, I was done dealing with Walmart I am baffled by the ordeal at Walmart and plan on actually telling my Dr. this story at my next visit, but moving forward I will continue to do business at The Medicine Shoppe. This review is more about the incompetence at Walmart than the positive comments about The Medicine Shoppe, however I thought it was important to show what happened prior to going to The Medicine Shoppe. Oh and last, my med was cheaper at The Medicine Shoppe so it as a win win all the way around.

When I was very ill the people here at the pharmacy was quite helpful and actually show that they cared everybody should be like these people these people Rock

It's obvious that excellence in customer service is important to all who work at The Medicine Shoppe. Thanks for the personal touches and not making me feel like just another number!

The girls are courteous. They are super-busy as all pharmacies are so CALL THEM AND DO N.O.T. RELY ON A VOICE MESSAGE DURING CLOSED TIMES NOR THE RX APP ... They often don't get them. Not always, but sometimes ... enough times for me to say forget text messages ... TALK TO SOMEONE IN PERSON. Even if there is a doctor's office involved ... don't trust technology ... get a p.e.r.s.o.n involved.

I started using this pharmacy after horrible experience and customer service time and time again at wal-mart. The staff is always courteous and never makes you feel like you are bothering them when you call. I have never had an issue getting my scripts ontime and I unfortunately have a lot of them. I am pleased with the service.
