1860 Public House

Took a drive to Red Bud and stopped at this very nice restaurant on Main street in Red Bud IL. On Sundays they serve a limited brunch menu, because they close at 2PM. They have a full bar if you desire an adult beverage. I ordered their “Triple Decker Club” sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. The sandwich was amazing, the ham and turkey that was used fresh sliced and had a really nice smokey flavor. They served it on a toasted multi-grain bread.

The service was great, our waitress was super friendly and very nice. She checked on us regularly to see that we were taken care of.

Would like to go back on a Saturday and check out their full menu.

Rode bikes here today. We had the Triple Decker Club and the Brunch Burger. The food was excellent, service was awesome and the atmosphere sitting outside is alway entertaining. Glad to see this place opened back up. Definitely worth the 2 hr ride and we WILL be back!!!!!

Everything was extremely good. I had one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time (The Goat). The Reuben was fantastic as well. The staff is extremely friendly and charismatic. The restaurant is in a beautiful building and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming.

Stopped in for a late lunch early supper and to get a bit of work done.

Waited a few to finally get seated, but so glad I did.

I was going to order the Reuben, but the server told me about a special they were having, Reuben Rolls. They were good, not the best cuz I really missed my rye bread, but very good. Got some fries and a house salad to round out the meal. Had sweet tea to drink, which was delicious! Topped it off with another recommendation, the cookie dough cake. So delectable! Good service - awesome food!!

I went here yesterday for the first time, and here's the scoop. The decor inside was very inviting and beautiful. The waitress was very polite and professional. She promptly would check on the group, which i admire. Our group was my friend and her fiance, along with her mom and stepdad. We were celebrating her mom's birthday, which is technically not until next week. I ordered the backyard BBQ cheeseburger. Burger is totally juicy and bouncing with flavor. Highly recommend.

Restaurant was decorated so elegantly, food was incredible and the Double Chocolate cake was to die for!! By far the best cake I’ve ever had in my entire life. Staff was extremely friendly , food was phenomenal and dessert was mind blowing. Highly recommend 10/10.

Love the authentic feel of this place. The staff are friendly and the food smashingly good, using local products. Will definitely be back.

Waitress was very nice. Always checked on Us. Had the Painkiller drink was really good. Food was hot good flavor. Can't spell what I had Pork with Mushroom gravy an mashed potatoes. Only thing maybe alittle more gravy and little more mash Potatoes. The other 4 had the Fish and said it was really good.

First time here. Very nice staff. We ordered drinks. Then ordered the German jaegerschnitzel and Cajun shrimp pasta. Both dishes were very good.

The food was excellent, and the prices are reasonable. They are just getting started, and their menu is not large, but they do have a good variety of appetizers, entrees, and sandwiches. The bartenders are excellent, and the wait staff is very friendly and work hard to serve you. It was full of people enjoying the evening. We look forward to many more visits in the future as a country and with friends. We wish them good fortune.

First some visiting. The food and the customer service were amazing. The burgers were cooked to perfection, delicious sweet potato fries with the dipping sauce. The stuffed mushrooms were so good. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

My girlfriend and I stopped and had dinner there. The food was excellent and the portions were plentiful. The service and atmosphere was outstanding and the prices were way more reasonable than I would normally expect of a restaurant of this caliber. It is now our favorite place.

Tried just off a whim and was throughly impressed food was excellent and service was fantastic. Recommend for your dining pleasure.

Super cute atmosphere - food was great, prices were on point and the service was good! The appetizers and chocolate cake were amazing!!! Can’t wait to go back and try some different menu options and the Pain Killer! Highly worth the drive!

Great food! Please try their beer cheese soup! Yum! Salads are yummy, rolls are delicious. Husband got the fish and chips. Very good portions and great prices all in a historic building with atmosphere and great service.

Great little place! It's a nice historic building. The food was great and service was good. We will be back! I had the blueberry and spinach salad and my husband had the blackened salmon. The salad was the best I have had in a while. Very excited to have a nice quality family restaurant in the area!

1860 public house has such a wonderful look and feel all throughout the restaurant. Elegant, historical and beautiful.
The service is warm and inviting the moment you walk through the door and continues through the whole time.
The food is excellent, I’ve had almost everything on the menu at this point and haven’t been let down yet. I feel confident that whatever I order will be just as good.
The prices are very reasonable up and down the menu and I feel like I’m getting my moneys worth and then some.
I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Red Bud is so lucky to have this great restaurant. The decor is beautiful and the food is great! The Strawberry Fields salad is my favorite as well as the spinach artichoke dip. The bartenders make some great drinks but you definitely have to try the 1860 Tea!

The chocolate cake was amazing me and my girlfriend came for our prom dinner our server Lori H was very nice to use made sure we were okay very nice and polite I recommend this place very nice
