Creekside at Colliers End

EVENT REVIEW: My client booked Creekside for a romantic engagement party and the venue did not disappoint. Coordinators love options and professionalism and I definitely received both. The unique barrel and door table setup was a hit! The outdoor fountain area was a great place for the couple's custom design block set. And after the sunset, the view of the event venue and outdoor area was gorgeous!!

My husband and I got married here in 2018 in early October and it was absolutely beautiful!! Working with Walt and his family was such an easy experience. We recently went back for a wine tasting and getting to revisit the venue and catch up with Walt and his wife was great! They also let us know we can go back and take pictures there with our kids to see the progression of our family, so we will definitely be scheduling those!

Theresa, Walt, and the Creekside staff are amazing. From Day 1, we knew that we wanted to get married at Creekside. From our first meeting, they gave great suggestions on vendors for food, ice etc.

Debbie (Day of Coordinator) was there from our rehearsal, to the second I walked down the aisle. The venue is naturally beautiful, and really doesn't require many flowers or decorations to add anything to it. There are no "surprise" costs, or additions later on. I can't recommend Creekside enough to those looking in the Huntsville area for a wedding venue.

My daughter's wedding reception was held at Creekside this past weekend and it was a dream come true for her. First, the Collier's are a joy to work with, very accommodating and willing to go out of their way to make your event wonderful in every way. Creekside's pavilion and the grounds are perfect for a wedding reception. They provide all the tables, tablecloths, and chairs plus other tables that can be used for serving a buffet or as a cake table. The main house is full of antiques providing a backdrop for photos as does the vineyard surrounding the pavilion. The property is located at the end of a county road and backs up to the Wheeler Wildlife Refuge so you will never have any traffic or noise problems. I highly recommend Creekside at Collier's End!!!

My daughter had her wedding and reception at this beautiful venue on September 4,2021. We had an amazing experience with the owners and the wedding coordinators. They were very professional and helpful with every detail of her wedding. They helped make her wedding day a memorable experience and stress free. I would highly recommend Creekside at Colliers. My daughter got married at Creekside in August. It is an absolutely beautiful venue and far exceeding our hopes for her day! In a COVID world, they did an amazing job of taking care and caution without ruining or overshadowing the day. It was a perfect day and we are so happy with our decision. Highly recommend Creekside!

This is a beautiful and well-kept venue for a wedding! The grounds are stunning and natural! We rented it for my daughter’s wedding, and it was just wonderful! Therise Collier, the owner, absolutely bends over backward to insure your wedding day is perfect! She is a very hard worker and truly cares about her clients. We had a rainy day for
my daughter’s wedding, and Therise monitored the weather constantly throughout the day, and had every plan in place to make sure it was a beautiful wedding regardless! At the last hour, the rain stopped and she and her team had everything in place for a beautiful outdoor ceremony as planned! Everything was so easy and pleasant!

We had our daughters rehearsal and wedding at Creekside, the grounds are amazing and very well maintained. The owners and staff were amazing. We could not have asked for better staff, venue and an amazing time.

Our daughter’s wedding and reception was held at Creekside over the Memorial Holiday Weekend, and everything about it was wonderful. First, both Therise and Walt were great and helped us to plan everything. They were accommodating and willing to go out of their way to make our daughter's experience special. The first floor of the historic Manor that is full of antiques was basically ours for the wedding party, and it is absolutely stunning. The groom and groomsmen were provided the Tisdale Cottage, which was their own place to get ready prior to the wedding. The Creekside pavilion and the grounds around it, which includes a vineyard, was perfect for the wedding reception. The tables, tablecloths, chairs and other furniture were provided for serving a full catered meal from the pavilion kitchen, along with the beverages and the wedding cake. There was also plenty of space for the DJ/Band and a dance floor. The entire property provides a perfect backdrop for photos and is located at the end of a county road, backing up to the Wheeler Wildlife Refuge. The setting is just gorgeous and a hidden gem. We highly recommend Creekside at Collier’s End as a spectacular location for weddings and other events!

Creekside is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. It is obvious that Walt and Therise give every detail their full attention and anticipate the needs of the wedding party. The result was a well organized wedding that was done very professionally. The setting is charming and the atmosphere is friendly. I had my bridal shower and wedding reception at Creekside and it was AMAZING! The Colliers were super accommodating and made sure that everything we had was perfect. Walt, Therise, and Jen made sure our wedding day(s!) went off splendidly! While venue-shopping, my husband and I found that no where in the Huntsville area offers such a complete package. Creekside's rental includes coordination, tables and tablecloths, decorative items, gas heaters, golf carts, and much more (you'll find some locations seem like a great deal before charging extra for things like adding lights or curtains...not Creekside!); the grounds alone are exquisitely designed for your wedding day! The details are done before you even arrive. You definitely will not regret choosing Creekside for your wedding celebration!

After a year and a half of planning, my daughter and her husband were married at Creekside in 10/23/2020. Walt and Therise were absolutely wonderful. Despite forgetting a few minor details that my husband and I didn’t mention to our daughter, the ceremony went on without a glitch. (We forgot to place pumpkins in certain places). It stormed for about an hour while the bride got ready, and on cue, stopped in time for us to have the ceremony on the front lawn like we planned. The grounds are beautiful, really no need for extra decorations. The reception was fun and the pavilion is decorated so beautifully. My daughter is still in cloud 9, she had so much fun. Thank you so much, Walt and Therise. You made us feel so welcome and everything was beautiful ♥

I have attended multiple weddings and dinners at Creekside. You couldn't ask for a more picturesque venue for any occasion! Aside from the gorgeous vineyard and charming property, the staff and owners don't miss a single detail in providing a memorable experience. I'll always look forward to any event at Creekside. I love creekside! I've seen several weddings th here, each of them beautiful and well thought out. I actually had my wedding there and Walt officiated for us. The Collier's are lovely people and treat their guests like family. It's one of the best venues for weddings in the Madison/Huntsville/Decatur area.I can't recommend it enough.

We attended a wedding here this past weekend, and I must say my husband and I were taken aback by the gorgeous main house and the pristine surroundings. The owners are wonderful people who obviously take great pride in providing the perfect venue for a southern wedding and reception.

My wife and I had our wedding on 11/7/2020 at Creekside Plantation. The short version is that everything with this venue, the owners, and the staff has been top notch. It's exactly what I had hoped for when we booked with them.

The owners - the Colliers (Walt and Terise) - were available by phone and email every time I had a question. My wife and I toured a number of different venues and the Creekside owners have thought of everything that you need for a wedding. They worked with us to accommodate our plans and vision, but also were willing to give ideas when we had none. In March 2020, COVID-19 hit and they reached out to us, to work with us on whether we wanted to postpone our wedding or keep our June 2020 date. They actually allowed us to come do a 13 person ceremony in June at the venue so that we could still get married and then come back for a second wedding ceremony/reception in November 2020 to celebrate with our larger group of friends/family. While most of our friends getting married at other venues got upcharged for a second date/COVID-19 fees/rebooking fees, Creekside Plantation didn't charge anything extra and they were willing to work with us to get through the crazy COVID-19 wedding times.

They met with us in person and by phone before the wedding. They also coordinated an in-person rehearsal. On the day of, Jennifer - one of the wedding coordinators at the venue was super helpful at hosting the outside food vendor, cake vendor, photographer, DJ and florist as they arrived. She also helped us to be able to put lanterns up in a tree at the venue, which made for a gorgeous backdrop for the wedding. She made sure that everything went smoothly from start to finish.

Finally, I think it's right to leave good reviews for places that have good service. No one asked me to leave a review, it's something that I think is warranted for Creekside Plantation after our positive wedding experience there. Right before I started writing this review, I was reading through the other Google reviews on Creekside Plantation, I saw that 5 people on Google (Sharkie Shark, Julie Urban, Cream Hartman, Frank Fairchild, Joe Lawerence) left 1 star reviews of the venue about the wedding a week before mine. I don't think their reviews of the venue or its owners reflect an accurate view and it looks as if 5 of them decided to group up and pile on. Actual facts about the venue, the venue has done over 30 weddings for something like the past 10-15 years. We talked to multiple caterers, DJs, cake providers, and photographers in the area while planning our wedding. All of those OUTSIDE vendors were happy to hear our wedding was at Creekside Plantation because THEY said the Creekside staff are easy to work with and THEY love the venue. We had no problem with the venue staff, the owners, or the deputy, as our guests were not out of control. While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I imagine there is much more to the story than those 5 Google reviews are letting on about what happened a week prior.

Anyway, if you are looking for a wedding venue near Huntsville, AL, my wife and I really recommend you check out Creekside Plantation.

I had my wedding here on October 17th. Walt and Therise were amazing. They really went the extra mile to make the day perfect. They know the property and can recommend great set ups to make everything work great. The venue was so beautiful. I definitely recommend adding flowers to the chandeliers, it makes the space pop in the Pavillion. I cannot recommend this place enough!
