1872 Inn

Do yourself a favor and stay here!! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Great location- just on the outskirts of the main part of town but minutes away from shopping, restaurants, and the entrance of Yellowstone. The most comfortable bed of any hotel I have stayed in. Fireplace gave it a cozy feel. Great touches in the bathroom like his and hers toiletries, double shower heads, and a heated towel rack. We didn’t stay for breakfast because we wanted to get to the park early, but hot coffee, pastries, and fruit available when we were heading out. Highly recommend!

The staff is very welcoming, the rooms are immaculate and the amenities are great. Best choice for people looking to visit the Yellowstone area.

This was our favorite stay in Montana...
Nikolai at the front desk is the perfect host...he is thorough and ensures each guest is cared about. Everyone I saw interact with him seemed like his friend...I'd hire him!

The room was great, bed comfortable and a great bathroom. Only downside is the location, the view out the window is an auto repair shop.

Breakfast is great and the coffee is outstanding...

We will definitely stay here again.

Found this on the app search and after reading the reviews decided to book for one night. We were not disappointed!! This is a lovely inn with beautiful decor as others have reported. Attention to detail not missed. You are greeted with the scent of a candle, not overbearing but setting the mood. The gentleman at the desk was wonderful, very professional, welcoming and helpful. He escorted us to our room and provided an overview of what is provided. He also gave us pointers of things to do and what not to miss in Yellowstone. I’m sorry I forgot his name but he provided a wonderful first impression.

The room was small but cozy and inviting. Not only was it pretty to look at, but immaculately CLEAN!! That is my #1 criteria. I loved everything about our stay here! It is pricey. You won’t be disappointed!! I would stay there again many times over!!!!

This hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean! Breakfast was great and there was no issue with parking. The area is quiet since it's off the main drag in West Yellowstone but still within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the 1872 Inn during our trip to Yellowstone in May and it was an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and so helpful. The room was perfect. The bed was so comfy and the double shower was fantastic! Breakfast was quite the spread and so delicious! We absolutely loved everything about our stay and were sad when it was time to leave. We will always have fond memories of our stay here and have recommended it to others.

Our stay was incredible celebrating my fiancé's birthday! The 1872 Inn is a gem and one of the best places I have ever stayed. The hotel is immaculate, rooms were comfortable, shower was huge, and the extra amenities were so nice! The breakfast was delicious!

Really lovely, peaceful boutique hotel. No children allowed on-property. We loved our tastefully decorated room with its en suite working fireplace and our cozy bed. The proximity to the west entrance of Yellowstone is major key! The breakfast was great and relaxing. Would absolutely recommend this property to others. If you have accessibility needs, stay on the first floor as there is not an elevator ♿

This place was AWESOME. So cool looking on the outside AND the inside. The room had a cool look as well. Bed was very comfy, bathroom was huge with a shower half the size of my RV! The breakfast was a huge pleasant surprise. The scrambled eggs with cheese, spinach and tomatoes were really good. Super friendly staff and they did not hesitate to accommodate my service dog.

My wife and I have found this to be our Favorite vacation-stay ever!! If we could give this place 10 stars, we would. All the years of traveling this is one of the most amazing place we have stayed at!!

Breakfast, Amazing- this is the best hotel/inn breakfast ever. Every morning there was one different hot breakfast item that was restaurant-quality. Also included was fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, bread for toast, oatmeal, juice, and milk. Every day, the hot breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes.

Coffee Bar, Amazing hot coffee. Syrup’s, hot chocolate and tea choices. This was fresh and hot all day. It was Wonderful to come back from the park at noon or in the evening for a stop at the coffee bar.

Attention to detail- from Breakfast to staff (including the owner, daily) to the decor and details in the rooms and lobby. You feel like you are at home, while being catered to. All we can say is WOW!

The staff is amazing, rooms were stellar, including bathrooms with two sinks and two shower heads. Internet, TV and fireplace in the room. Wine glasses were also in the room; we enjoyed a bottle of Huckleberry wine while visiting.

Making sure we give a shout out to the wonderful staff of this inn that make you feel like you never want to leave and go home.

The location is also perfect, tucked in the corner of town where it quiet but a straight shot (2min travel) into the park. short walk to all shops and restaurants. We walked every day, you can walk to everything in town.

Would not hesitate to stay there again. Also five stars for the employees. After a long day at Yellowstone National Park, it was great to have such a nice place to stay.

We stayed here for four nights. We chose it because of its proximity to Yellowstone. The whole hotel was quiet, clean, and well-kept. The room was tidy and clean. The free breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of substantial offerings that really kept us going on the trails. The hotel staff at check-in, Akeem, was very helpful. He provided maps of the park and West Yellowstone and gave us recommendations on what to do and where to eat. I would definitely stay here again and certainly recommend it.

Ok, this place was nice! Our room had a comfy bed and wonderful shower. My wife loved the sauna that was next to our room. The bathroom toiletries were very high end. Breakfast was available early and it was very good for a continental spread. They thought of everything. A very high end boutique inn. I would definitely stay here again.

We've been on a two week trip and i gotta say, waking up here was the first time I didnt wake up with a limp due to my back causing issues with my legs. Our king suite had a fantastic gas fireplace we utilized. They also have an awesome shower with two nice shower heads, and a sauana, which unfortunately we didnt need or use. The complimentary snacks and drinks in our room were greatly appreciated! They even had actual coffee mugs, and wine glasses, which was a nice touch since we happened to have wine with us. The breakfast provided was absolutely fantastic and delicious. And the coffee bar was perfect! I sincerely regret not getting the gentleman's name that checked us in monday may29th cause he was just the best. Super kind and professional, incredibly informative and just all around wonderful. Thank you!

This place offered exceptional customer service, the staff always had a smile on their faces and were always willing to help. The rooms were smaller but had more personality and luxury than most hotels twice the price. The bathroom alone was worth the price, double showers, every item you could possibly need hygiene wise, and very spacious. The breakfast was also amazing, a full, fresh breakfast bar every morning. Finally, the location was perfect, a 2 min drive to the West Entrance but also on the outskirts of the main downtown area which offered a nice feeling of relaxation. Definitely recommend!

This was probably the best hotel experience we've ever had. The hotel itself was beautiful. The old west decor was great. When we got into the hotel, Takheem gave us a tour of it, and of our room and recommended places to eat in the area, he seriously knows his stuff. Also, the fact that it was adult only is a huge plus. Breakfast was delicious as well. We were sad when it was time to leave.

Awesome hotel, highly recommend! Stayed here for part of honeymoon Sept ‘20 and loved that it was adults only. It was very quiet and so comfortable which is perfect after spending all day in the park. Fireplace in the room, comfy bed, awesome shower, sauna. Nice staff who left us a little gift. Adorable hotel.

One of my best hotel experiences!! Worth the money. The staff went above and beyond. Very friendly and helpful. They even gave us great restaurant and park recommendations that did not disappoint. Hotel was amazing. The room was very clean. The double shower was HUGE and CLEAN. The towel warmer was a great surprise. The fireplace in the room was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and had many pillow options to choose from.

The best hotel in Yellowstone area! Newly built and carefully decorated. Although the room was a bit small, it was comfortable and spotlessly clean. TV was huge, shower room was massive, especially loved the design of the bathroom. Linens and towels were soft and clean, toiletries were top quality. Staffs were helpful and welcoming. Overall a great boutique hotel, highly recommend.
