Three Bear Restaurant

First of all, Brandon was fantastic! I ordered a lychee lemon drop, and it was by far one of the best drinks I have ever had. The meatloaf was delicious and I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. The history of the building and business is also fascinating. Definitely worth a trip, and worth going back to.

Food was amazing!! I had the spaghetti and marinara with bison meat balls, so freaking good! Our waitress Lindsey was phenomenal, very knowledgeable, funny and kind! Great service! We definitely miss the salad bar! Maybe it'll come back though?

We were served by the lovely Kevin this morning for breakfast and he absolutely made our day! We love the relaxed atmosphere and easy going conversations we have with the staff there. Great value for money! Our go to breakfast spot when we stay in West Yellowstone 😊

Ate here 3 times over 5 days. Breakfast is very good, omelets, steak and eggs, supper was Prime rib. Great food and service each time. Atmosphere is nice with rustic logs like a big log home.

Great place for fast and friendly family dining. Our group of nine was seated quickly, served promptly, and the food was delicious. No complaints (even from the picky kids)! The restaurant is located within walking distance of many hotels and shopping locations, museum, Playmill and the awesome Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center! Oh yeah, and it is a straight shot into Yellowstone.

We did not stay in the connected hotel, we just frequented the restaurant. But it is on the to-do list for next year! Thanks Three Bear!

The Prim Rib is fantastic. The trout my daughter had was amazing. We both had Huckleberry drinks, and they, too, are sooo good! Our service was excellent. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant to anyone in West Yellowstone!!

Hey, that was pretty good. Got the Bison burger ( $15) and it came with fries. They also had a good selection of beers. Fast, friendly service and good food? Recipe for me to return.

we went to this place because it was next-door to our hotel. I’m really glad it was! The coffee was absolutely amazing. You’re like how can it be any different well it candy and it was. The breakfast was really good we had biscuits and gravy with some potatoes and eggs and then an omelette all of which turned out really well. A good breakfast is hard to find sometimes three bear knew what they were doing when they put this together. If we’re ever in the area we will definitely stop in for breakfast again well worth the wait.

Great American style dinner serving what could be called classic American dishes. There is a good selection of beef dishes, and the bison burger was very well done if yet simple. If you want a local flare, the huckleberry lemonade is a great drink with your meal.

A note is if you have kids who ate picky Mac n cheese eaters (aka that box kraft stuff) they might not like the Mac n cheese here. It is not bad and was amazing when the adults tried it, but kids, as you know, like what they like. The Mac n cheese should be an entree for adults, IMHO, as it was good.

Got myself a bison ribeye steak with hot cocoa and bison nachos! The steak was amazing and needed no condiments! Ordered medium rare and it was juicy~ The workers are extremely welcoming. I managed to get in 40mins before closing and despite having less workers the food came out warm and fast!

Due to a reduced working capacity they don't currently offer to-go orders but their social distancing practices are up to par.

Social distancing was done very well here. Tables are spread apart and condiments given in condiment bags. The only taxes here are the resort tax since they are apart of their own lodge.

Very nice restaurant. Excellent bison dinners.
A little pricy. Great atmosphere. One of the better ones in West Yellowstone. I had Bison beef tips, the wife had the bison fillet.

Second day breakfast on our trip here. My husband liked the food better than where we went yesterday. My veggie omelette was really good. Somehow moist but not yolk or anything. It was probably all the vegetables sweating inside it and being cooked and yummy.

It was interesting to read the history of the restaurant and lodge on the back of the menu.

My husband got the country fried steak with scrambled eggs, hash browns and a biscuit. He loved his food and my omelette when he tried it.

We may be back before we leave. We would recommend stopping in for breakfast.

I love the egg Benedict here. The eggs are cooked to perfection, hard white and runny inside, pairs nicely with the piece of perfectly seasoned ham. Decoration is very Yellowstone. Waitresses are nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend anyone to try their wonderful breakfast.

My husband and I are here on vacation in West Yellowstone. We discovered this restaurant from checking local places to eat. We are both VERY pleased with not only the comfort and cozy feeling this place has, but the food and service was the best we've had in a very long time!! Wonderful staff! We celebrated my husband's birthday breakfast and dinner here! It is so nice to find a place and service like this!!

The special menu has bison steak, which tasteed good. My picky daughter liked food here. Also,the waitress were nice. It's worth a try.

3.9 stars is astonishing when you have other restaurants in the area that don't even know the ingredients of their own food...

This place is different. I cannot have garlic or onion, which is challenging, and so far this was the only place in West Yellowstone that knew how they cook their food and it's actually pretty great.

Why this place is a stand out:
1. They actually have vegetables! and they weren't just steamed... brussel sprouts were solid!
2. The menu was beyond pub fare, we got salmon & pappardelle pasta.
3. They actually talked to the kitchen about the food... and remade my salad because it touched onions.
4. The food was so satisfying! It tasted good and was healthy enough that I could feel my body thanking me... you guys rock!
5. Brandon is the man! Friendly, helpful, and actually knows the menu or is willing to ask.

Between the excellent service, great food, and no takeout surcharge, I will be eating every meal here for the remainder of my stay.

Great food, nice cabin atmosphere. The server was very patient with my toddler. I had the bison burger (picture. It was a solid burger. I also tried the big game next loaf and the bison steak. All of it was phenomenal. I'd love to come back here next time we are in Yellowstone. The bison nachos were more like poutine instead of nachos.

For a Saturday night we waited less than 30 minutes for a table at their busiest time. We’re used to waiting over an hour in Bozeman so that was nothing. Bartender makes a great, strong drink. Our server Breanna was incredible. She checked on our table at least 8 times even though she was busy. Botox face sitting behind us was incredibly rude because they had to wait. Breanna was still professional and kind. One of our meals took a little longer but the salmon that came out was amazing! Everything we had was excellent. We will definitely be back.

The decor is rustic, the wait was minimal. The service was quick, & friendly. The food (1st time eating Bison burger) was mouth watering. My compliments to the chief. I know, just a burger, but truly delish...

I didn't eat but the food looked great.

The bar side is small and has a cool local feeling. Had a few drinks and a nice conversation with the bartender Isaac and locals at the bar.
