So delicious and way too much food. The Dutch baby was everything promised. I was skeptical about the lemon, powdered sugar, butter, and pancake but it was so light and refreshing. My wife loved the giant veggie omelette and the fresh squeezed orange juice. We have leftover breakfast for the entire weekend, totally worth the wait. They crank through the crowd so it's never as bad as it seems!

My grandson Luke chose pancake house for his birthday breakfast! Loved everything about our visit. Greeted with a smile and an awesome table by Paige. Next greeted and served by Terra. She served the birthday boy a perfect strawberry dish w whipped cream, mini chocolate chips, and sprinkles! Crispy potatoes with peppers, onions, and cheese, crispy bacon, amazing French toast, steaming hot coffee and yummy pancakes!! His favorite part of the morning was photo with Eduardo!! Every time we go no matter what day or time Eduardo greets us all with a smile and hello! This is definitely the cleanest, most well kept restaurant in Cincinnati. He never stops working and he makes the restaurant feel like we are visiting family. Make sure to say hello to him and maybe try our favorite, sweet, kind server Hannah. She’s awesome!! You will get the biggest omelette you've ever had. I love omelets. I didn't think I've ever had to walk away from one. The 6 egg omelette is a giant. It's stuffed with whatever you choose and made perfectly. It ranks very high on the omelette list for me.

Well worth the wait times!! Large portion sizes, great presentation, and excellent flavor! The 6 egg omelette is huge! If you haven’t been yet…. Why not?

A perfect encapsulation of the family breakfast nook experience. Go on Sunday, regardless of if you are religious, and experience the ease at which the staff handles a rush. Nice as Hell too!

As a frequent customer I enjoy this place and its food a lot. The servers are super friendly and engaging in your experience. While it may be just a simple breakfast place it has the best food and the most friendly wait staff.

Lord they put some serious magic in their pancakes 🥞 They just have the perfect fluffiness and flavor. We love coming here. Seating can feel a little crowded especially with people coughing and not covering their mouths. But overall we love this place☺

This was my first time ever going here. The service was outstanding! My fiances omelette was even a little undercooked and the waitress noticed it right away and put it back in the oven. The food was amazing. I definitely recommend getting the Hawaiian pancakes. They're amazing! I loved everything about this place. 10/10

Try to come early or you can call ahead. By 9:30am on the weekends, there’s often a wait.

Wow what a surprise to finally try Original Pancake House and know that it will now be our go-to place for breakfast. Food was incredible and service top notch . Hearty delicious portions served up with love. The corned beef hash was very good as were the yummy buttermilk pancakes. It was so good that my son wants to go back for his birthday.

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food and so reasonably priced! This is a true gem in our area! Our kids LOVED the fish tank and the food! We will absolutely be coming back.

The best damn breakfast spot hands down. I'm in love with the vegetarian omelet. You have to add bacon to it, I have had it both ways. Piggy it is for me. I'll fly on a pig for that omelet 😅. I took my daughter here one day and was back a couple weeks later with the whole family. Love this place, oh yea it's nice to watch Nemo and dory in the tank while we wait for our food. 🧚🏽‍♀

This place is really good, the best breakfast on the east side of town. It's busy especially on weekends but worth the wait.

Decor: The place has a large beautiful fish tank. The rest of the place has a high quality mom and pop country dinner feel.

Service: The staff are very friendly, I have visited several times and food is usually out very quickly, and drinks are rarely empty even on busy days.

Food: I have only had a few items on their menu so far but what I have tried had been absolutely divine, fit for the gods.

We stopped in for the first time and let me tell you, this will be a must stop from now on! Everything was delicious and the service was great. Really good coffee too! 4 of us ordered a ton of food and sampled it all. Cannot go wrong with any order! Stop in for sure!

It was outstanding! It was my birthday and so I said "to heck with counting carbs!" And so ordered the buckwheat pancakes AND the apple waffle. These were the first pancakes and waffle I'd had at a restaurant in 3+ years due to my adherence to the keto diet.
These were worth every carb!

Makes for a great early morning meeting spot/cozy breakfast place. Service is usually good and nice aquarium centerpiece decoration. Love the bacon pancakes, pretty cheap too!

I have as of now over 500K plus views of my photos. I do not mince words and I am 100% frank with my reviews. This was my first time eating here and it was wonderful. I have an extremely picky 5-year-old who does not even like whipped cream. She gobbled her chocolate chip pancakes with no complaint. I drink ONLY black coffee and found myself pouring cup after cup. Happily the server left the pot at our table. I had the vegetarian omelette, which the cook was good enough to alter for me: egg white only, only a smattering of cheese. The vegetables were fresh. Not canned slop. The omelette was light and fluffy and cooked to perfection. My 71-year-old mother had the Belgium waffle, which must have tasted great because she spent more time eating than talking. The server was incredibly friendly. She battered with my daughter about Pokemon. She kept a close eye on us without being a badger. We walked in at 2 p.m., a half hour before they were to close, and were treated like we were the first customers of the day. This is NOT McDonald's. This is NOT a dive diner. Real food takes time to cook. You are paying for food. Not regurgitated food product. I suspect the negative posts were disappointed customers who expected greasy junk fast and under $4. This place is no different than a First Watch. They have limited hours to keep the quality up. The difference is this is far more local. If you want food you wish to expel quickly into the nearest bathroom, go to McDonald's. If you want real food which takes extra time to cook and genuine service, come here. This will be one of our safe-favourites in the future.
