The chicken at this place was amazingly delicious. Every piece hot and seasoned to perfection. The sides were just as delicious and season to perfection, the fries, the okra, the egg rolls. The staff was extremely professional and the service was quick. The price is reasonable and cheaper than our normal spot for the large amount of servings. This place has certainly earned our business. If you want some delicious food and great service this is your place. I recommend this spot!!

Fried Okra great. They do slice the tomatoes for the pork chop sandwich paper thin. If you want to try a different potatoe salad theirs has dill in it.
The cinnamon rolls is good heated up for 10-15 seconds. The cream cheese icing (I'm guessing) with pecans heated kicks it up a tab.

I just found out about this place from fb and decided to try it.. I’ve been here 3 days straight and I’m still raving over the food.. The first day I had the gumbo, it was good and hearty. I went back for the stuffed turkey leg, my husband got the ribs, and we ordered 2 egg rolls just to try them… OMG!, heaven on earth! today my husband ran back for 4 egg rolls I wanted to try the chicken so I got a wing basket and a egg roll, Good Lord the sauce!!!!! both sauces had me wanting more!!! to some up this review, we will be back! Delicious! Cashier was really nice too

I don't mean to be hyperbolic but this may be the best fried chicken I've ever had. It was really well seasoned, juicy and impossibly crispy. Will be back soon! FYI, as of today, they have a limited menu for their soft opening. My husband had the chicken sandwich and it was phenomenal too.

Best chicken dinner I've had in years. The chicken was full of flavor and cooked to crispy perfection. I loved the seasoned fries and the baked beans were soo good! The service was fast and friendly and the restaurant was clean.

"We got the sauce" is right. Go look for their videos on Facebook / Insta.. you'll see what that's all about. Chicken and Waffles dish is awesome. Comes with sauce for the wings, syrup and butter for the waffle. 4 big chicken wings. The hero of this place is the cheeseburger egg roll and its sauce. You're going to want to get at least one of these to try. You won't be sorry. It's definitely a "hole in the wall", and "Shack" is an apt term for the building, but the whole meal is overflowing with flavor. I wish they had a picnic bench under their palm trees so you could eat in the shade on site, but the food here is 100% worth the stop.

Every time I come here I want to get the chicken wings. Then I want to get the turkey necks then I want to get everything. Get down here and get you some Big Jim approved

The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. We had the gizzards(tender) and a 20 pc wing. They were out of the cheeseburger egrolls😔 but we will be back for those. The homemade honey hot sauce was OMG 😲 the bomb 💣! I do recommend this place!

I looove finding little places like this! Cousin wanted some fried chicken but not from one of the big chains, so we searched for something local. It is just what it says, a chicken shack. I already knew when we pulled up, it was going to be 🔥🔥! The lady in the window was super nice, food was made fresh & HOT. It didn't take long to get the order, & the food was on point! Chicken was flavored well & crispy, I got a cheeseburger egg roll (wish I would've gotten 3 lol) & my cousin said the fried okra was great! Definitely a great place to try if in the area. Prices are very very reasonable. Fed us both well for $20 (including the tip!) 😁😁

Was looking for a bite after an appointment and stumbled onto Barnyard Chicken Shack. The Chicken was Hot, fresh, juicy and packed a HUGE crunch.. 10/10

I went last Thursday and got 2 turkey neck plates so I could have leftovers the next day and they were bussing baby. Can’t wait to go this Thursday and get them again. Awesome atmosphere and people.

this is a great little spit with great food. you are also supporting small businesses. every time I'm in the area, I male sure to stop and get something. usually a rib plate, but I haven't had anything yet I do not like. off, and the baked beans are perfect.

The food is always hot and fresh! Few of the items I have tried is the cheeseburger egg rolls,turkey legs/stuff turkey legs,fried fish and their fried chicken! Everything I have tried thus far has been delicious which is why I keep coming back for more! The staff is courteous and friendly!

Just tried this food for the first time. Mind absolutely blown. I had the daily special, a brisket burger. Plenty of food for the price, and it was extremely good. I will be returning. Pro Tip: there is a small charge for card transactions, so take cash. It leaves you more to tip with.
