Johnny's Electrical & Plumbing Services

We’ve been using Johnny’s for at least the past 15 years. We’ve had plumbing work done and heating & air conditioning. Today they installed a new hot water tank as our old one was leaking and ruining the flooring. Johnny called right back and had 2 of his fellows come out within a couple of hours. They did a great job installing it and even picked up a pan for this one to sit in and a water alarm. We are very pleased with the work they did and will continue to recommend them.

Johnny is knowledgeable, reasonable and efficient. I always call on him for my personal and commercial properties as well as refer him to all of my clients!

I called based on great reviews from my neighbors. Called to have electrical work done. Rerouting and connecting two short lines. Also looking for a possible HVAC duct repair. Main phoneline (wife) refers me to Johnny's phone. I explain the repairs and he starts complaining he is very busy, don't need new customers asks me how long I can wait for the repair. I asked when are you available ... 2 weeks? ... 2 months? He won't say, but gets very upset and complained about his age and not wanting new customers.

After I asked, he quoted his hourly rate but said he would not work just for an hourly rate.

I had no problem with his base rate. I did not mind waiting a week or two, (all service work in this County is much slower than the national average.) but I will not be disrespected when I did nothing but ask to pay for a service with no hard deadline. He advertises online, owns a business phone line and ID'ed vehicles.

I will find (and pay) another contractor. You should too.

I have used Johnny's services over the past few years doing various services around my previous home and current home, which were pleasant. Two years ago when our HVAC system was near the end of its life, we contacted Johnny's regarding installing a new system-we were told that it wasn't needed yet. Shortly after that the HVAC did quit working and we got a family friend who specializes in HVAC to install a new system for us. Fast forward to 2022, I contacted him about doing another big project with lighting and plumbing. When I called he said he refuses to work with me because I was not "loyal" to him and proceeded to hang up the phone. Decide for yourself if that's the kind of attitude you would like to have in your home when looking for repair services.

On a rainy day, in very crowded traffic, the large van for this business rode the bumper of my very small car for a considerable period of time on 29 North. If there had been an accident, there would have been absolutely no way they could have stopped in time to avoid plowing into me. It was dangerous and I did not appreciate it. YMMV.

Called for an estimate, leaking pipe under a sink that had spread behind the wall and flooring. The owner was very rude and questioned how did i know it was leaking...... also told me to just go through my home warranty and that he didn’t have time.

Called to book an appointment and spoke with Johnny himself for an estimate and just seemed very unprofessional and not very personable. Seemed like I would have an unpleasant experience if I went with this company.
