Zee's Pizzeria

Small pizza diner located in a neighborhood across from Garden district. Would never have guess this place has AMAZING pizza and garlic knots. Pizza was cooked perfectly (slightly well done) and everything had amazing flavor. Staff was very nice and engaged in conversation. Leah was very kind and provided advice for first time tourists. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This was an absolute shock to me and possibly the best find of this trip. I had great oysters, excellent po boys, a cool steakhouse concept, killer sausages, and nothing could prepare me for this. We found NYC style pizza in New Orleans!!! What???

Opening the door to Zee’s Pizzeria I knew immediately that it was going to be good. The scent that smacks you in the face was the pizzeria’s of my youth. To say I was surprised would be an extreme understatement. The girl who helped us at the counter was very friendly and so was the guy who brought the pizza to the table. Cool little shop with old signs and stuff from around the area.

Pepperoni Pizza was in the ballpark of $21 and a Peroni was $5. I was perfectly okay with both prices for what we got. The peroni was ice cold and had zero detection of skunk city (I get concerned with green bottled beers sometimes) and this pizza was just … wow.

The crust was crispy and delicious. The sauce was not overly sweet and it had a good amount of it. The cheese was tasty, and they tossed a little Parmesan over top of the pepperoni. This was seriously such a find. I saw they do pies with ricotta dallops and other fun toppings so I’m certain to go back next trip and try those out.

My wife and I have been looking for THE pizza spot in New Orleans. Ladies and gentlemen if you are in “our same boat”, STOP SEARCHING NOW. Zee’s is the spot. Ask for hot honey!

I found Zee's through Barstool Pizza Reviews about a year ago, and I had to stop by while I was in the area now that they have a brick and mortar establishment! I ordered the red top slice which was pretty good. It was both thin and crispy, but I think the sauce or cheese could've had a bit more flavor. I imagine a whole fresh pizza would've blown this slice out of the water, but for the price, crispness, and convenience, it's hard to beat!

Every bit the 4.9 rating or a 9.1 for el presidente. Better than some of the best shops I’ve been to in NY/NJ. If you come at peak times be patient. I promise you it’s worth it. If you’re visiting NOLA put down the gumbo , po boys and make sure to get a pie at Zee’s. Btw, great value as well.

IT'S ABOUT TIME!
We have searched everywhere in the city in 10 years. We haven't found a pizza parlor that was even close to New Haven, East Haven, West Haven style pizza. But today (just for the hell of it) we gave it a shot and I had to stand up and clap. That's how good this pizza is. Try the sausage with onion and then we got a white pizza and it's well-done the way it's supposed to be.

Buddy and I came in for a Bye Felicia. Best pie I've had in New Orleans. Small shop but the wait didn't seem outrageous. There was a line out the door when we got there right before opening. Will definitely be back.

Great pizza crust, crispy and charred to perfection. Pizzas a 4.5 out of 5 Overall, pizza is well balanced although sauce is not tangy at all which prevents it from being legendary status. Margarita was a 4.5 and 4 cheese was a 4 out of 5. Very friendly and quick staff.

Seriously absolutely amazing pizza! We all got the single slices of pepperoni and that came out the perfect temperature to tear into! The staff were so friendly and helpful. They were great with our kids and the facilities were perfectly clean. Will definitely be going back!

Being a transplant from CT finding decent pizza here has been very hard. Well the search is finally over. Great pizza, cooked right, and fast with good service. It’s a little tight in the restaurant but the staff is super friendly and by far the best pizza I’ve found in NOLA.

The perfect outer crunch yields to a delightful interior. Robust sauce and good cheese. This pizza does not suck.

We were recommended to try Zee's by a local tour guide as we wanted to try authentic American pizza ... Zee's did not disappoint, it was amazing, slices were huge and delicious
If you are visiting the Garden District, take the street car out a few more stops to find this place you won't be disappointed

pizza is absolutely fantastic. staff was on top of everything even though we came in on a busy Friday evening and the door never stopped for a second while we were there. the main girl running the floor made sure to greet everyone and take at least a moment to chat with every customer and make sure all was well. just a clean, cool environment to grab a great bite.

they were so nice! if you’re ordering ahead for pickup, you have to call and ask what times they have available (or a wait time if you want asap).

My partner and I absolutely loved this pizza. This was the best crust, and my partner loved the pepperonis. The mushrooms were delicious too. Highly recommend this place!

This is quite possibly the best pizza place in New Orleans. I saw other people talking about it online so I gave it a shot, I was not disappointed. Crispy crust, high quality cheese, beautiful sauce loaded with flavor.

Easily the best NY/Northeast style pizza in New Orleans with an amazing crust (bubbles!) and great sauce and toppings. Great for a proper folded slice. As a North Jersey native there’s only a few places that make pizza the way I grew up with it and Zee’s is hands down the best. Great pizza made by great people.

Finally got a chance to go to the new Zee's Pizzeria location. Truly the best pizza in Nola. I'm so happy for Zander White, not only turning a dream into a reality, but to be praised by many as "the best". Hard work pays off, and it shows through the food quality.

Tried the new menu items: the garlic knots and the Caesar salad, they are fantastic. The salad dressing was so good, I was using it to dip my crusts in.

If you haven't tried it yet, go! It was very busy, but we were served super quick. And if you need a job, they are hiring, so go apply!
