I cannot say enough positive things about George from George's Marina. As a boat owner in the North East, I have had my fair share of experiences with different marine mechanics, but George truly stands out. He is a no-nonsense mechanic who has a wealth of knowledge from years of hands-on experience working on boats before the age of computers.

George came to my rescue when one of my boats was experiencing issues, and thanks to his expertise, he was able to troubleshoot and fix the problem, saving my duck hunting season. Not only is his pricing fair and reasonable, but his turnaround time is impressive. What sets George apart is his willingness to explain everything in detail, provided you are open to listening.

Recently, my second boat needed a new prop, and George not only helped me prick out the one I needed to maximize performance but took the time to educate me on the prop selection process and the science behind prop sizing. Honest owner very knowledgeable and great at diagnosing the engine etc. Had my engine with another shop they thought the issue was the needle into the carb ( wrong word but it fit into carb and screws in) guy had the boat and motor for a year. George figured it out in 24 hours. I had dropped it off on a Saturday in early August. George called me the next day a Sunday morning to say engine needed valve job. He said engine ( old Evinrude 30 hp ) wasn't worth fixing . If looking to get your Boat or Engine diagnosed / fixed in a prompt Professional Manner call George. J G C
