Willowbrook Golf Course

The layout is unreal. There are some real gems on this course. The cart paths are like a Tibetan mountain trail....wear a jock strap!! The greens were fast and in good shape. The distinguishing holes made it easily worth the 40 bucks I paid on golfnow. In town from St. Louis, and honestly, I was happy I played here. Thanks! (Look out for that 9 foot gator that hangs out on 17.)

Beautiful course. I have played many courses in Lakeland, and Tampa this course hands down is in the best condition of any of them. From the greens to the fairways, not to mention the staff and the starter are extremely friendly. If you are lucky you might see a few gators like we did.

Absolutely beautiful course in excellent condition. If you're in the area its a must play. Super value. You wont believe the greens for the middle of winter. There is some construction along one hole that may cause that hole to be closed but that will be short term. Don't miss out on this one.

Originally I played a couple rounds at a golf course complex nearby that was highly recommended and I was so disappointed at the cost and terrible condition. Then I discovered Willowbrook (a hidden gem for a muni course) and played there several times in Mar 2020. The people were so friendly including the starter (who ran the show and kept things running smoothly, Jesse).
The course was in great shape, affordable, and very playable! Not real long or real difficult, but challenging. Looking forward to playing here again!

I find it to be one of the more challenging courses in my area. I would play from the white marker, but I had a more enjoyable time playing from the yellow marker because of hazards you need to clear on the drives. The course plays away from the road into the woods so it's rather peaceful. Nature is definitely present out there. In one day I saw a gopher tortoise, tirtles, Sandhill cranes, alligators up to 5'5", butterflies, and if you know where to look the perch are bedding down in the shallows during the spring. Most of the bridges look like they need some work they hold. I think only one of the bridges where out and blocked off, but it's a short detour around it.

Excellent course. Nothing PGA level, but well maintained and perfect greens. Lots of water to make the course pretty, but not much in play. Wasn't overly crowded and managed to play faster than pace for a change. Couldn't beat the quality for the price. Can't wait to go back!

Came in and got a large bucket of balls for $10. The staff was great and ended up talking with them for about 20 minutes. I plan on going this weekend to play 18 holes.

Honestly really nice gold course would like a little touch up on the golf cart paths but other than that not bad played there today👍🏽

We fully concur with Glenn’s review and comments about Jordan’s review. The staff at Willowbrook including Jesse go overboard to be courteous and friendly. In fact we are disappointed when Jesse isn’t there. The course is in excellent shape and is a tremendous golfing value. It is a shame that people like Jordan can ruin a wonderful day on a golf course for the people around him such as the unfortunate people playing with him as well as those whom Jesse made the effort to fit them between even though he was late for his tee time. We played three days per week for the 2 month we were staying in the area and will miss it. We will definitely be back next year.

For the money this is a great course. It’s very laid back and has many wide open fairways. My kind of golf course. It is pretty soggy in areas due to rain, but that’s Florida. I’ll be back!

On a golf vacation this week. I have played 3 other courses within the local area prior to Willowbrook. This was the best of them. Definitely recommend playing here if you're in the Winter Haven/Lake Wales area.

Terrific Golf Course with Clubhouse Bar and Sandwiches! Beautifully situated. Quiet, Peaceful, and also Lively Atmosphere. Great views. Come see the gator! From the patio!

The course is in great shape for the price. A hidden Jem in my book! Great staff, and a well maintained course. Challenging as well. This serves well as a practice course or a course to hit around some balls with family and friends.

The greens were in great shape, and we enjoyed our round too! Will be coming back!

Nice coarse greens and fairways in good shape. First time I played there and I will go back again. Reasonable green fees.

Love this course no houses on it just nature and green fairways. Not expensive either
