The gentlemen at the museum were so kind and helpful. We actually arrived on a day they were closed, not realizing it. They opened up and let us come in for a while anyways because we were from out of state. The memorial museum offers so much to see. We all had a wonderful time and plan to return in a couple of years when they complete their expansion. The volunteers were so friendly and helpful. We appreciate the kindness they showed us while we were there.

Packed full of artifacts! Great way to spend an hour (or three) on a rainy day. Knowledgeable veterans staff the museum and are ready and willing to point out items of interest. I was really intrigued by the collection of service flags they have - showing how families through the years have denoted their blue and gold star status. Reasonable donations collected for admission.

This place is great it is packed with rifles, uniforms, pouches, knives just filled with equipment. It's kind of small and they only accept cash but that's really not a issue, they have a small area where you can take pictures with either a Korean or Desert storm vest, helmet and riffle our son really enjoyed that. They had uniforms and equipment from the war of independence to the war in Iraq. They have planes, jeeps, motorcycles I mean there was just so much to see and it seems they have more to add. You really gotta check it out if you are in Huntsville or around the area it's also not expensive at all.

The Veteran's Museum is amazing. They have so many fascinating displays and the sweetest people. I was especially impressed with the Pygmy Jeep and the display of the war room. I am eager to see future plans.

A must for any history enthusiast. The museum has lots of very high-quality pieces from a variety of nations and is well kept by knowledgeable staff. Their restored vehicles look amazing. This place is clearly ran by people who care. $5 donation for admission was well worth it.

Awesome museum- great way to spend hours on a hot day! Had kids 4 kids ages 4 to 10 and they loved being able to browse through all of the vehicles, weapons, uniforms, displays, models, etc. etc. So much to see and not enough time! The two 10 yo boys loved being able to put a helmet and flak vest on and then "patrolling" the corridors with their dummy M4 and M16. And the museum personnel were so so pleasant and knowledgeable! We will definitely be going back!

Amazing display of military artifacts. Great staff who can tell you as much as you could ever want to know about the items and history of the items in the museum. Plan to spend more time than you think. The museum is packed and worth the time to read the information provided. Also plenty of military bases around, got lucky enough to see Apaches training!

This museum was located in the old Huntsville airport hanger. This is an impressive collection of military vehicles, inert, weaponry uniforms photos, and other memorabilia. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The parking was easy and admission for an adult was a donation of five dollars. This place is great for kids to see actual military equipment.

It was a very interesting and informative walkthrough the history of the theaters our county has been through. It was great to see the Veterans there helping with the museum after the completion of the local Veterans Day Parade.

Hey y’all! Philip and I are here on a visit. We wanted to go to the veterans museum while we were here This museum is so wonderful. It is what makes us so proud to be an American and serve in the military. These wonderful men and women who put so much love and respect in this museum to honor all veterans over many wars- men, women and of all colors. When you see the air craft, ground vehicles and weapons, it makes me think of the people who flew them, drove them, and held them. All human all Soldiers. Thank you for building a beautiful museum!!!
