Manahawkin Health and Rehabilitation Center

My mother was in the facility for 5 months following a stroke and I was very happy with the care and attention she received during her stay. Sharon the administrator was Beth d helpful with answering questions and guiding is the right direction for when we had to take mom home. I had some reservations about the building prior to going but when I spoke to the admissions offices and learned a new company took over Manahawkin Health and Rehab last year and met the staff I knew this was the right choice. This is a good practices care facility. The staff is professional and friendly. It is important to understand that providing care for many of the patients is extremely difficult. They all feel they deserve better because many (most) are formerly outcast folks or misunderstood and/or troubled veterans. I am grateful for the people who work and run this facility. I am especially grateful for the veterans living here who are forgotten. We all need to remember them and better understand their condition. God help us all!! Joe Keating, friend of MRN.

My mom Elena is there two years now everyone friendly and always help me if I need help it’s her home now and she happy there the staff and nurses are all good don’t let the older building throw you off no urine smell like other places and always cleaning and clean smelling they pride there selves on care first over profits and building look I rather have happy mom with good help versus a barber shop in her place she calls home older building old school values and respect Sab

Manahawkin has been part of the Stafford township community for over 25 years .anyone can write a review as it’s a snap shot of your experience however there are staff that have worked there 25 years not many businesses can claim that , generations of families generations of residents

I can't say enough great things about the staff at this facility. The Admissions Director Monaud is super helpful and has gone above and beyond to help me with any issues or problems I may have. The receptionist Jessica is wonderfully friendly and I'm extremely grateful when my visitors come they feel welcome. The H R Director Savannah goes above and beyond to assist residents with their accounts. All of the CNA's are extremely nice, helpful and make themselves available at all times when I need anything. They are also quick responding to my call bell. The Nursing staff are beautiful people and amazing nurse's, I honestly could not ask for better care. Jessenia goes over and above with scheduling appointments and transportation. Mona and Natalie are always available to listen and help when needed. I feel like I have been blessed with my placement here and I'm extremely grateful.

I just wanted to give a little review about my stay..Let me say that I have been in a few nursing/rehab centers and I want to be honest in telling you that this is the place to go if you feel like you are home and people who really care are helping you to accomplish your goals. The do an outstanding job in taking care of their patients.

I really enjoy working as a nurse liaison for Manahawkin Health and Rehabilitation Center! The management is great, the staff members are amazing and everyone goes above and beyond for all our patients!

Manahawkin is phenomenal place and facility for these residents. They do everything they can to make sure the residents are treated accordingly woth perfection. Also the resident Care Coordinator is extremely approachable to where the residents find comfort and satisfaction on getting their needs and wants answered. Great Job to manahawkin and Champion Care!!!!!

I have a family member who is a resident at this facility and he is always telling me how he, and I quote, “Absolutely loves it here!” I cannot express how grateful I am for the staff, administration and D.O.N for making his stay not only comfortable but continuing to keep a smile on his face. Not only does this facility provide an interactive setting during activities, of which he has a blast doing, the administration and D.O.N are always available when needed.
Most recently he has expressed with tears in his eyes how he has such a wonderful time during the Christmas party. He stated that he felt so much joy with those who he considers his extended family and looks forward to what each day will bring.
As I have received nothing but wonderful reports of my family member’s stay, I can highly recommend this facility to anyone who has a loved one in need of a nursing home.

This building is perfect and I love how we can smoke. Also thank you to Monaud for always checking up on us and making sure we are okay. The staff is great to.

This is a great facility! The staff is attentive and they have great activities!

My adult son has been a resident in this facility for a little over a month now. I cannot praise all of the staff enough. I have had dealings with every department in many different matters and everyone has been overwhelmingly kind and quickly accommodating. My son has received excellent care. They truly go above and beyond. I would recommend this facility for your loved one.

This by far is the best facility I’ve been in!!! They took care of my aunt like she was family. The staff cared for her with great compassion and I could not thank them enough. The facility was clean and staff was professional and personable. Thank you all sooo much for your hard work and dedication !!!!!
