I was so impressed. The fish empanada was the best thing I’ve tasted in ages. The steak bowl had the most amazing fresh steak. Sitting outside was really pleasant on a beautiful late spring night.

Beautiful space, great Margherita's and guacamole. Staff were quick and kind and they give military discount. Great big screen to watch the Olympics. I will be back.

Best food I've had since moving to the Huntsville area. Customer service was top-notch from begging to end. Daniella..amazing, food...amazing. The Très Leche took me to another world with just one bite. Highly recommend 👌

This was a great dinner. No complaints at all. It is upscale Mexican. My tacos were awesome. The margaritas were so good.

Very nice space, great service. Ordered 3 tacos (rajas, pescado, and fried avocado) and they were so good. The table also had the tortas de papa and I'd definitely order that again as a starter. The salsa, chips, and cheese dip were also really good. Menu has so many tasty sounding items that it will be hard to decide next time. Great food, great experience.

Our favorite spot in Huntsville! Their guacamole and margaritas are unrivaled to me. David and Juan always take great care of us at the bar or at a table! I’ve tried alllllmost everything on the brunch and dinner menus from tapas to entrees to bowls and tacos. I’ve never had a bad meal here. We’ll continue to support this local restaurant as long as their doors are open.

One of the best places to eat in Huntsville. This is a higher-end, classy Mexican restaurant with amazing food, excellent service, and a fun, lively atmosphere. The dining area is clean, contemporary, and bright with natural light through the large windows. The entire kitchen is visible through a large glass wall and you get to watch the kitchen staff cook your food as well as prep the fresh made salsas and sauces. The chips and salsa is a must for a starter. The food is unique, fresh, and vibrant. The cocktails are hand-crafted and absolutely delicious. La Esquina Cocina is a must visit if you’re in the Huntsville area!

We’ve been wanting to try La Esquina Cocina for a while now and I’ll say it did not disappoint. We went for brunch on the weekend and had mimosas and margaritas, can’t go wrong there! Highly recommend the spicy marg and guava mimosa. The taco plate comes with 3 tacos of your choice and they were all great. You should definitely order some queso and salsa as an appetizer. The chips seemed to be fresh and house made.

The restaurant decor was nice and very modern. They have plenty of indoor seating as well as some tables outside. They had live music on the patio with an outdoor pass through to the bar inside. The bathrooms were also very clean.

Located pretty central to downtown, it’s within walking distance of your favorite bars and Big Spring Park. We will definitely be back some time for dinner. One of our new favorite spots in downtown Huntsville.

La Esquina has a nice welcoming vibe to it. There is a nice amount of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. The drinks are made well. The server we had was always checking on us and fast with any requests. The price of the meal was nice. No free chips but definitely worth paying for them! Great place to eat and you will leave feeling good.

What can I say other than I fell in love. Beautiful plating, amazing service, and most of all the best Mexican I’ve ever had. With my mother being Argentinian one of the best delights is a nice empanada, and I got that here. Please go in lunch time for the best prices and eat something your mind can be blown away from!

We went to La Esquina Cocina for Sunday Brunch. It was unlike anything we’ve be had before, we all ordered different dishes and sampled a bit of everything. It was wonderful! Highly recommend the Holy Mary if you like cocktails with your brunch.

Good food and great margaritas. The spicy margarita is $9 on happy hour and well worth it.

The food was good as always. Love all the empanadas, and tuna toast. Good salads. Not good Sushi. The bar not to recommend really. Service is bit slow . The place is bright, modern decor, but noisy , even after they put the ceiling panels.

I tried the shrimp bowl this time and it was delicious and the guacamole never disappoints. I highly suggest getting the Tres Leche because they use more if a spice cake rather than a white cake and it is so warm and flavorful!

Met a friend for lunch on a Sunday. Wasn’t busy at all. They had live music on the patio of a guy playing guitar and one playing saxophone. Really relaxing vibe. This was our first time. Menu is small but I think that is nice because it isn’t overwhelming. I got the 3 tacos plate. The food came out looking amazing. The taste was even better. I got one of the carne asada and two of the pollo al pastor. I’m telling you, if you get the pollo al pastor you will not be disappointed. These were possibly the best tacos I’ve ever had. Plate came with a lime and a little squeeze of it on the tacos was perfect. I left satisfied and full. My wife ordered the steak and eggs and from the 2 bites I had it was very good. The steak had great seasoning and flavor and the potatoes were delicious. Overall this is a great chill lunch spot. The music wasn’t so loud you couldn’t have a conversation. Highly recommend this place!

Great Mexican food by the river. This place was so beautiful and clean!
We ordered taco plater and quesadilla (vegetarian). Great options for veggie lovers as well.
The quality of the food is excellent and service is great with superb ambiance.

We had a great visit for Cinco de Mayo. Fantastic service, great food. While it is often just a "component" the fresh salsa is truly legit! Thank you La Esquina!

New favorite spot! The atmosphere is very clean and chill, the menu has good variety without being overwhelming, and the service is genuinely kind! Get the guacamole --super fresh and some of the best I've had! They have a really neat and eclectic drink menu--I highly recommend the Rosemary 75. The tacos were fabulous (I had the carne asada, grilled shrimp, and carnitas). The portion sizes were more than expected, and the rice and beans had great flavor. Me and some girlfriends had a lovely dinner and could actually hear each other speaking, which can be an issue at many other downtown spots. I loved it! Absolutely going back!

Rachel offers the best customer service, is the best bartender, and her leadership should reward her charming, upbeat, positivity. A++++ for Miss Rachel. The food was on point, the best shrimp tacos in all of the Tennessee Valley!!!!

Fantastic! I loved everything thing I ordered. The menu has many options and several things I didn't know what they were, but I think eating there a few time would solve that. I would highly recommend it. The fish empenadas were my favorite item, and the guacamole was great as well.
