Condado Tacos

Very first time here and I was not disappointed! I ordered the Skywalker Nachos + Tequila Lime Steak, Braised + Confused Brisket Taco and Blue Dream Ground Beef Taco. Everything was very delicious! From the moment you step inside of the door it is definitely an experience! Starting at the art work and the music to the employees they were all very happy and helpful all the way to the food that comes and takes your joy to another level! I will definitely be returning soon!

These are the best tacos I've had in Huntsville! Incredibly good. They put the hard shell into a soft tortilla so if it breaks you won't lose everything. Just brilliant! They let us sit outside with our dogs. I got a shrimp taco and tofu taco. They were both great!

Took my family here after looking for a place close to Big Spring International Park downtown. We wanted to grab a bite to eat and then explore the park. My wife, who isn't a big fan of Mexican food picked the place -- and I am so glad she did!

We arrived in time or lunch and were promptly seated. There were quite a few open tables when we arrived that progressively filled up while we are - a testament to how popular the place is with patrons. The ambiance is great -- walls of windows that let in a bunch of natural light and make the place feel airy with nice views of the lake and downtown park area. The interior decor definitely caters to college age kids and older nerds - you'll find sword and board fantasy, dungeons and dragons dice and other fantasy figures adorning the walls. The music selection is electric and not too loud and overall it's a good place to hang out and drink a few beers and eat a few tacos. Service was fine, not super attentive but not bad by any means, definitely used to college kids hanging out a while and eating vs trying to flip tables at the cyclic rate.

Price seems a little steep at first glance -- tacos range in price from $4.45 to $6.10 per taco with no sides, while a lot of street taco places charge $4~ per taco. But these tacos are much bigger than street tacos so they're a decent value all said. I ate 3 tacos with some chips and was extremely full afterward. Some things are expensive ($4.50 for a half bowl of Mexican Street corn, $1 for a togo sized container of sour cream etc) but overall I felt the price was fair for the quality of food received.

I ordered three tacos: Purple Haze (a sweet Korean pork taco), the Heater (a steak taco with tequila lime marinade and pickled jalapeno) and Braised and Confused (a braised beef taco with jicama and pickled red onions) in order to try out multiple types of meat. Spoiler alert: they were all DELICIOUS, even the Korean taco I was iffy about. I also tried the queso and chips, Mexican Street corn and an Orange Glazed Chicken Taco (honestly the worst of the ones I tried) as well as the kids chicken quesidilla (different than the usual half hearted attempt, actually pretty decent.

Without hesitation, definitely a place to try if you're in the area. I'll definitely return and hopefully pick up some cheaper beers during their happy hour specials -- great place to eat!

McKenna was the sweetest waitress! Staff was very attentive and food was fresh. We ordered a margarita flight and a dip trio with our entrees and left very full! Will definitely be back!

Come here for tacos and margaritas! The sides are decent and the queso is delicious. But get the right taco, and you will wish you ordered 4 more!

New place in town, area great, atmosphere high energy (it’s a game night somewhere), food and margaritas two thumbs up. Our waiter Isaiah, amazing! Lincoln “the area guy” came to our table asking how was everything and if we had any feed back (that was cool). We would come back😁. Oh and they have happy hour M-F 3-6! Check it out, you may like it.❤

This place is a whole vibe.
The food is filling and there are some unique flavor pairings.
You can also select your own taco toppings as well.
Overall, I love the option of 'a la cart-ish' dining experience.
Don't go here if you're used to everything coming in dramatic portions.

For a non-alcoholic option, DO get the cactus juice- refreshing and sweet!

Our first visit to Condado and we loved it. We went early evening for happy hour. $5 margaritas were great. My wife had the jalapeño margaritas and loved it. The chips were really good too, they were warm, thick and crunchy. We got the house salsa and thought it was really good too. The tacos were the star of the show. Get the double-decker tacos. They come with a soft shell wrapped around a hard shell. I had the lime-steak and a chicken taco and loved them both. The dirty sauce is what I chose for my tacos, and it was great, very flavorful, and a little bit spicy. The atmosphere was great, too. It's located right downtown with a view of Big Spring Park. The walls are covered with very cool art done by local artists. Music was playing to give a festive atmosphere. The service was fantastic. Our server knew the menu well and was able to help us make great selections. Shout out to Brie G for the excellent service.

If I could give it 10 stars, I would! The service was phenomenal! Extra chips, full drinks, suggestions and explaining the menu. And speaking of the menu!!!!! Lord if you don’t get anything else get the Dirty Queso 😩😩😩 and that Prickly Pear Margarita!!! After we paid and left, the manager gave us 25% off to come back. We will return.

Such a fun atmosphere to match the delicious food! My family enjoyed everything that we tried including 5 different tacos, byo bowls and 2 different quesos! The brisket was my husband's favorite protein of the options. The green chile queso was 10/10 for pepper lovers and the chips are thick and well seasoned. Definitely can't wait to return and try the drink menu and well as more menu options! A great addition to our area with a unique spin on American-Mexican cuisine

This IS the place for tacos and margaritas and beers. The food is amazingly fresh. The flavors are unique, exotic, varied, and fun...yes! They're fun! (Go see for yourself!) I got two tacos; Purple Haze (amazing!) and Braised and Confused (incredible!). They definitely whet my appetite to come back and try each and every taco on the menu. We started off our meal with chips and guacamole...BUT not just any guacamole. We got their pineapple and honey guacamole. I've never had a better guacamole in my entire life. Seriously good guacamole! They have a great beer selection and amazing margaritas. The only thing I'm sorry about is that I didn't know they offered margarita flights until we were leaving. So...yeah... another reason to go back to Condado's. And I can't finish without mentioning how wonderful the service and the atmosphere is at Condado's. To everyone at Condado's...thanks! Your efforts and passion didn't go unnoticed. We'll definitely be back for more!

Had a good time here, atmosphere is pleasant and our server (Forever) was awesome! Quaint place, but also greet! Variety of tacos if you’re in the mood, GO!! Check out the art while you’re there.

A fantastic place to visit with a variety of taco and meal options! Love that they have several gluten free items!

I got an orange-glazed chicken, a plain Jane, and an ooey gooey. Flavor was definitely there, especially with the orange-glaze having a flavor-dusted hard shell. Only thing I’ll say is the ooey gooey wasn’t as cheesy or messy as I expected.

It’s not “authentic” Mexican but it’s still fun to try! Next time I’ll be going for the drinks as well, lots of cocktail and mocktail options!

I was highly disappointed in the advertised reward for the first 100 patrons on opening day not happening HOWEVER, the food, beverages AND service is consistent and top notch. My family went for Family and Friends night and I was super impressed. The smoky cheddar dip is delicious, the chips are on point, the quality of ingredients in the tacos and drinks is primo! I didn't have a favorite spot for tacos UNTIL Condado got here. Check it out. You won't be disappointed

I had the privilege of trying this location as a preview night before it opened. The staff was beyond friendly. The food and margaritas were out of this world. I totally recommend the smoked cheddar queso and the Tropicali and Smoke Show margs. The salsa is amazing. I had chicken, chorizo, and steak tacos, and, truly, you can’t go wrong with any of them. The tacos are stuffed, so two is plenty filling.

First off the atmosphere is totally relaxed and comfortable. Me being a nerd I love some of the themes that are painted on the walls. Madison, our bartender took care of us in the most outstanding way. Completely professional attentive without being a UFO hovering over my plate, wondering how it was. I am definitely going to be recommending this place to my family and friends. Again, thank you so much Madison for the wonderful service.

I went to eat with my family on Saturday night and everything was wonderful! Jade was our server and she was so sweet! She had a lot of knowledge when it came to the menu and guiding some picky eaters. The manager, Jason, stopped by the table to check on us and he was extremely nice and got us everything we needed. The margaritas were awesome and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere of this place is unlike anything else. The fact they have local artists who have painted and designed almost all the art from the walls to the menu’s says ALOT.

Their margarita’s are delish, the tacos are amazing. A tiny smidge slow but it’s only day 3 of being open and they are slammed, so knowing that they did amazing!!!

My daughter wanted to go here. And it was a different kind of Mexican food restaurant. But man, was their food and drinks amazing. You have to gop back just to try the other items and drinks you missed.

Fantastic place for great happy hour specials! The tacos are delicious along with the dips and the atmosphere is one you cannot beat!
