Loved the atmosphere & outdoor dining area. Food was great - we had chicken fajita burrito & grilled fish tacos with rice & beans. Yum! The mahi was perfectly done. I love the refried black beans ! We also had a couple margaritas- a classic one & a passion fruit one w/tajìn on the rim.
We had a great waitress too - Tribly! She was very friendly , smiled, and was attentive! We’ll be back!

Great place to go and enjoy some fast casual tex mex food options. Michael was great and the food was delicious. The honey tequila drink was wonderful, the olive juice one was very olive (slightly dirty was more than dirty enough! )

The best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I had the barbacoa tacos, street corn and a watermelon strawberry margarita with a tajin rimmed glass. The street corn was recommended by William who by the way is a fantastic server! He was right the street corn is the best. Comes in a cast iron skillet. Atmosphere was nice, everyone was friendly and gave great service, food was delivered fast. Prices were excellent. Go at Happy hour if you can. Don’t sleep on this place. This place just opened 3 months ago. The atmosphere is pretty cool. They have a deck in the back and a pretty cool bar downstairs. I enjoyed the chip and ordered the Chili Colorado. It was tasty. Definitely a recommend

Today I ate lunch at Del Chuco Cantina and it was an amazing experience. The restaurant has a really authentic Hispanic atmosphere with 2 outdoor eating spaces and even an underground lounge/bar area. The chips and salsa is an amazing starter, easily some of the best salsa I’ve ever had. We had excellent service by Nathan. He was friendly, answered any questions we had, and was genuinely just an excellent server. He made my first experience there amazing and I will be coming back. Easily my favorite restaurant in Downtown Huntsville now .

Food and drinks are amazing. We sat on the back deck! So fun and a festive evening. Had the shrimp burrito, mahi tacos and combo fajita and three amigos appetizers. Trinity was our server and she was amazing! Thanks for a fun evening.

4 of us for brunch, 3 of us were new to the place. Parking on & near the square was fine, as there's no charge during the weekend. We got Trilby as our server & she had great recommendations & explanations for the 3 newbies. Spot on recommendations. We got fajitas & burritos & a (salmon) bowl. All equally fantastic, fresh & very quick. Nice portions, too. The chips were light & their salsa was quite excellent, as was the iced tea (tho the glasses were too small, more like toothbrushing size than eating size). No complaints! Looking forward to return & try more of the menu.

I am not a huge Tex Mex fan typically but Del Chuco made me a fan today. At least a fan of theirs. I ordered the Taco Salad and it was delicious! The shell was cooked perfectly and obviously made in house. It was light and fluffy while still having the perfect crisp to it. I was most impressed by the fact that the lettuce was placed on the side rather then within the actual salad preventing it from getting mushy. I'm not sure who came up with that idea but they deserve a raise. It was simply a genius idea! The meat was actually seasoned beautifully which is often rare, I've noticed, here in the South in any mex restaurant. If there was one thing I would have changed would be to have received more salsa with my order which I did request but sadly didn't receive. It was a to go order so I am sure they would have given me more upon request but I was too lazy to go back and it was delicious without so ... no harm no foul. I love the atmosphere as well and so will you. Highly Recommend!

Our server Nathan was awesome! He really listen to what we really wanted and made all the changes and the food was delicious.

We ate at Del Chuco for the first time tonight and had the best experience!! I split with my husband the Mexican street corn (AMAZINGGG! Probably my favorite ever), the chicken fajitas, and a spicy watermelon margarita. Everything was delicious and came out so quickly on a Friday night. We did arrive early (5 pm) though so I don’t know if they are busier at other times. It didn’t seem crazy when we left though. We are probably restaurants’ least favorite type of diners with a baby and a toddler, but everyone was so kind and accommodating. Very friendly staff, especially our wonderful server Will!! We will definitely be back.

Jake was my waiter and I had a reallly good time. I will go back, I was in the restaurant part and my drinks were great, service was friendly and timely, and my food was good !!!!

Just had my first visit and was very satisfied! Our server Trilby was friendly and the food was amazing. We order the trio appetizer and got drinks. Overall was reasonably priced. I can’t wait to come back and hopefully experience the underground room.

The food is excellent authentic Tex Mex. Nice casual atmosphere. Tasty margaritas. Home made salsa and chips. Great place, friendly staff. Gm Josh makes sure this establishment runs flawlessly.

Last week William was our server, he’s awesome. This week Trilby was our server. Another great job. This truly is an outstanding staff. Josh runs a solid crew, and Ben just crushes it with masterpiece after masterpiece being served from the kitchen.

The food is absolutely delicious. I had the taco salad with grilled chicken and poblano ranch. The salsa is also fantastic, so addictive. The chips are thinner and salty - my favorite. The staff is friendly and the server we had, Sergio, was top notch. The only thing I would offer up as a critique is that the outside patio seating is in an alley right next to the back side of Beezr and Jefferson Street Pub, and it smells strongly of trash back there. I hate that for the restaurant - there may not be a good solution. Just hated to get a big whiff of that smell between bites of food. I'll definitely be back, I'll just wait on inside table availability next time.

I had the pleasure of eating here yesterday afternoon. The salsa has a unique flavor and is not to spicy for me. The chips were fresh. I had the chicken quesadilla which was full of flavor and lots of vegetables. The person I was eating with got the fish tacos. She loved them! The portions were very filling. The atmosphere was very nice with open seating inside or outside. The staff is very friendly. If you are pressed for time, service was quick. I will definitely be going back again!

Went tonight for dinner! First time there. The atmosphere, especially cozy and comfortable on patio; it was a great evening for it. Rudy was awesome! Took great care of myself and parents. We each had cocktails. We had the Shrimp bowl, chicken taco salad, and steak taco salad. Creamy poblano was delicious. I think my favorite was the thin chips and salsa. Will definitely return!

We were reluctant to go because of the original low rating of this place on Google. While we did wait at the front for quite awhile before anyone greeted us, everything was great once we got to our table.
The back patio is cute despite being directly beside a parking garage. They have made an effort to make it inviting & colorful.
The tamales and the fajitas were fantastic. So was my coconut margarita. We’ll definitely be back.

Delish dinner! Second time here, brought some out of town co-workers and they all enjoyed it as well! Was pretty calm on a Monday night, but can get very busy later in the week. The fresh flour tortillas are the best part! Thanks Trilby for the great service!

Great food. Well-balanced flavor profile. Del Chuco shines when it comes to service. We had Nathan as our server, and he was awesome!
The food for me is almost perfect. Being from NM, I want the green chilies to be more legit; otherwise, 10/10!

Our server, Trilby, was amenable, friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent and tasty, though as a person who avoids meat, I was limited to only two Starters, the mini papa tacos made with potatoes, and the nachos, no meat. I had the tacos which were tasty and enjoyable. Nice ambiance and clean.
