Hops N Guac

The last few days, we’ve been stuck at home due to inclement weather. But thankfully Hops N Guac was open and delivering. We ordered two nights in a row! The food was fantastic and we appreciate the kind service so much. Highly recommend!!!

We stopped in while it was a downtime, between lunch and early dinner rushes. The menu has a great mix of fresh options, with food prepared to order. The beer wall was calling my name, but I was out with my kiddo mid-day so I'll have to go back later to try the numerous taps. The chips were thin and crisp, with the salsa tasting light and fresh. The carne asada tacos were very flavorful, as was the ground beef bowl.

Hands down some of the best tacos we’ve had in a long long time.
Service was great, we had a lot of questions about the menu and the girl at the register answered them right away. They know everything on every single taco.
My husband got birria, carnitas, and carne asada. I had the fresh avocado, Yucatán chicken, and tilapia.

We also had a margarita and a churro! Everything was so delicious, we recommend every single thing we had ourselves, and the atmosphere is lively but calm!

Can’t wait to try all the other tacos!!

I finally got to stop in and try this place, out with the family. The food is Excellent, fresh ingredients, deliciousness! Daughter had the Shrimp Burrito bowl, Husband the ground beef burrito bowl, loaded steak nachos, I had the avocado taco and the portobello mushroom taco....They were all so Yummy! The fountain drinks were not diluted, my husband said the Blue Moon was better than in the bottle. I would recommend this Awesome place to anyone.

This place is amazing. I couldn't find a bad taco. They also have a bunch of beers on tap that you can self pour.

This was my first time in but definitely not my last! The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was absolutely accommodating. Salsa is on point and the beer cheese is delicious and addicting.

One of the coolest trendiest places I’ve ever visited everything is wonderful from the environment the food the staff the drinks are amazing check it out if you are ever in the area you won’t be disappointed

Very fun night with a pool table and great tacos and a huge selection of beer and drinks. We loved the food. Try the oreo dessert. I liked the coffee with Godiva, too.

Delish! Casual taco place. Really good food. Cold air conditioning on a hot, hot Alabama summer day! Had the 3 taco combo and shared with hubby. Got the Baja Tilapia, Carne Asda, and Grilled shrimp (forgot the name). All were very good, but the fried battered tilapia was something else!

I was initially against their "bracelet system" but have come to love it!

Open a tab (let them check your card and see your I.D.) and they hand you a wrist band.

You just want to sample one beer and you tap your bracelet against the beer tap (which activates the tap) and pour .79 cents worth of beer in a glass and take the bracelet back to the register.

You spent .79 cents
That's it.

You pay for precisely what you pour.
Nothing more.

Also - Tequilas. Even their well liquor is 100% agave tequila. Multiple different reposado and aged tequilas available at this bar.

I recommend a skinny margarita made with Cabo Wabo (a reposado tequila)

And the bar staff are happy to explain and talk you through different grades and ages of tequila while you are there.

I really gotta say the chickens wings were very tasty! Make sure to use the sauce, little spicy but good. The tacos weren't bad either. The best thing was the pour yourself the beer. Pay by ounce and even have test cups.

Great food Great beer . Probably not their fault, but couldn't find a spot to get in there with my wheelchair. And couldn't find handicap parking.

I thought this place would be super packed, but there is tons of room. The food is some of the best tacos and guac I've had in town, and don't skip the Guac! The beer selection was great, a wide range of even hard to find beers. My only suggestions are to play Latin music, and keep the bacon off the vegetarian dishes like the avocado tacos. Will definitely be back.

I walked in and went straight to the counter to order. I got the Two Taco Combo (a Pollos Fuego and a Pastor Taco) with Rice and Beans as my side. I forgot to get a drink, so I went back up to order a drink, and by the time I got back to my table, my food had already arrived. Fast service, delicious food, and great staff. What’s not to like?

Phenomenal! Great Mexican 🇮🇹 fare with their own touch. The multitude of taps for craft beer, cider and wine is amazing and so is the pay per ounce idea, as you pour your own drink! Highly recommend.

The food looked amazing! I wish we would have eaten here. The beer wall was very cool and I found a new beer that k absolutely love! The bartender was very sweet when explaining what to do!

Food was great and tasty and fresh and customer service was amazing , I highly recommended this place to anyone who looking for good food, the price we pay for food was a deal $70

So happy I found this place!! I came from out of town for work and was struggling to find a food place open past 10pm especially on a Sunday. The food was extremely flavorful, the staff was so friendly and accommodating and my experience couldn’t have been better! Thank you guys so much!

Loved their carne asada fries, their queso, and guacamole. Fun atmosphere with a cute photo wall, and lots of different types of drinks to try. Great for a girls night!

We really enjoyed the food, felt bad we didn't come earlier when they first opened, just didn't expect the food to be as good as it is! The Don margarita was awesome as well, smooth with homemade sweet and sour!
