Chef Chen's Chinese Restaurant

My first time trying this Chinese Restaurant. We dined in. Our waiter's name was Brian. He greeted us with his pleasant smile & great personality. Brian is very personable & professional. He's very good at what he does & it shows. We ordered vegetable egg rolls, bbq pork chow fun, salt & pepper chicken wings, & chicken chow mein.. The food arrived within 10 minutes. The food was hot, fresh, portions were quite large, and it tasted amazing. It was the best Chinese Food I have tasted in a long time. The owner even came out, greeted us and asked how everything tasted. If you're in the mood for Chinese Food, we highly recommend you give this restaurant a try. I'm sure Brian and his Dad would appreciate your support and business. BTW, there were a lot of DASH Door Orders being picked up so take-out is another option. This place is probably my favorite Chinese in town. I believe they're under new ownership, but the dishes taste fairly similar if not better. I've tried a few different dishes, all of them have been great.

They have a special dinner for one which started at $9.25. You pick an entree and pork fried rice, and I think you can upgrade to chow mien for a buck. Service is very friendly, and the serving size is very very large. If you can finish this in one sitting, you need to be very hungry. Also it depends on what you get I suppose.

Give them a try, especially if you've been there before in the past and had a bad experience.

This place is fabulous. Very clean, Excellent quality food. Homemade pot stickers are AMAZING. And the service is five stars. Lots of food for the price. I will Definitely be back.

First time trying this place. The food and service were great. We got the Mongolian Chicken, General Chicken, Szechuan Chicken, and Potstickers. We will definitely be going here again.

Customer service was phenomenal and the food was delicious! The chow mein was thick noodles that were cooked and seasoned perfectly and I highly recommend. Definitely going to come back next time I'm in town

This was the first time I had food from Chen's and first time used app to order ahead to go. They're food came highly recommended. Help was extremely kind and helpful! Short wait yet she brought me ice water, talked/ shared a bit why was there, she insisted to help me to my car with the order. Seemed family owned atmosphere. Food portions were very large. Food was very good. Had vegetarian soup and dishes. Got free egg rolls for size of order. Will order again soon!

Got the pork buns, general chicken, crab cheese rangoons, sweet & sour tofu. All delicious with the pork buns being fantastic! Very friendly service (we did take out).

Love love salt and pepper wings, pork fried rice , sweet and sour pork and chicken chow mein! Fast and Friendly service! Perfect Friday night treat !

I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have a line out the door! I didn’t find anything about it on line but took a chance and got some food to go. It is by far the best Chinese food I’ve had in years. The food is fresh, sauces are delicious and portions are generous. I have never written a review, this food is so special I wanted to share. Next time you have a craving for Chinese check it out. Not only does Chef Chen's have amazing food, but the ONE issue I have had in many years of regular ordering was corrected immediately.

We were dissatisfied with one particular item we had ordered and called to let them know that this particular dish was not up to par. They apologized and thanked up and let us know that they would make it up to us next time. That was fine with us as we have been frequent customers for years and this was the first issue ever.

The next day they delivered not one but TWO freshly made orders of that item, unexpectedly. We were very, very impressed.

Above and beyond. Bravo.

Being vegan in Vacaville isn't easy but thanks to Chef Chen's I ate like a queen. They were honest with their ingredients and went above and beyond to make me a vegan chowmein that was was to die for. (Vegan pun intended.) I highly recommend this place to all vegetarians and vegans alike. They are clean, professional, kind and most important the food is amazing!

I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! Their food is always hot and consistently yummy. Their customer service is 10/10. Attentive, kind and polite. Highly recommend them and I will keep choosing them!

They're clean, polite, great service to start off. Not to mention their delivery is awesome. The food comes hot and on time if you select a delivery time. Their driver is super polite and I just appreciate when delivery drivers dont make YOU feel rushed. The food is great, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good chinese food night!
