Absolutely love their coffee!!! I’ve been coming to hooked on a been for years and this is the only coffee we enjoy!! You not only get FABULOUS coffee but it’s a great atmosphere and so welcoming!! No big corporation is going to know their loyal customers by name. We love waking up on the weekend and going to grab our coffee with a hot/cold brew to go!!! You will not be disappointed with any of their freshly roasted coffee!!! Don’t forget their free smells and to visit the duck pond!!!

The owners are passionate about their coffee, their community, and their customers. You can’t get fresher beans in the area, and there is an amazing variety to choose from. As for the cold brew with homemade flavored creamer, it’s so good that it inspires my nocturnal teenager to wake up at 8 am on Saturday morning so we can get there before it sells out.

If you are looking for a perfectly roasted coffee, look no further. This family owned and operated small business is a must for any coffee drinker. They are friendly, courteous and caring. The cold brew and homemade organic coffee creamers are perfection. I know that with each bag I get that their main focus is on the quality of the coffee. When you purchase it, they will grind it for you on site and ask immediately what your brewing method is to ensure the correct grind. Whether you prefer percolator, pour over, drip or whatever your method, you will have the perfect cup of coffee every time. I cannot pick a favorite blend, for all of their roasts are delicious. I love coffee. I just moved from Michigan to Ohio 3 weeks ago and was passing through. I was in heaven the minute I walked in because coffee roaster place!!!! I love fresh roasted coffee! I can drink coffee all day long. We had a cold brew and the vanilla cold brew is homemade as well. All the syrups are made homemade, and the manager/owner that made it for us explained that it's homemade! I was in heaven, God bless you and I'll be passing through again trust me! Thank you for the experience

This place has the BEST coffee in our area. The store hours are a little funky due to the owners having lives and jobs other than the shop. Just make it there when they are open! They make sure to update their hours on Facebook all the time. They will grind your coffee for any of your brewing needs. They don’t use chemicals so people who sometimes get an upset tummy from store bought coffee tend to not have that reaction from their coffee. I have never once been disappointed by any of their coffee they roast and it’s the only coffee I will buy to make in my home.

Hooked On A Bean is the gem of Flatrock. Their dedication to coffee goes beyond anything I’ve ever seen in the coffee business. It’s small business at its finest with it being mostly mom and son both working to make the finest coffee in metro Detroit. We always feel welcomed and their coffee keeps us very happy. Good coffee, great people. Try the cold brew! They source and roast their own beans and develop some pretty fantastic blends. I believe anyone can find their favorite flavor here based on the varied selection available.

Got their hot coffee, it is AMAZING! Fresh roasted on site in a very clean environment. They sell their fresh roasted beans at a good price.
