Appleseed Horticulture

We come to apple seed for all our gardening needs. They carry the best stuff that we like to use in the garden. Fertilizer and bloom, ladybugs, any thing we need. Fantastic customer service. We come to placerville just to stop by. Highly recommended!

Needed some horticultural grade charcoal and nobody carried it from Ace to Green Acres but Appleseed did. Great service and many reasonably priced products. Good to support your local shops.

Great products, way better soil than the hardware store. Seasonal items and smoking accessories cool store. Wendy killing it. That other guy idk... lol

Most of the staff is knowledgeable. Can be a little family unfriendly at times (two of the employees swear like troopers). But when the owners bring thier kids it is a much more family like atmosphere. Decently priced goods and a wide selection. If they do not carry what you are looking for, they will order it for you.

Always go here for my horticulture needs. They have a large selection of fertilizers, insecticides/fungicides, great soil, and many other little things like ph kits, pruning stuff, ladybugs, hid bulbs etc. Even some grow tents. Employees are always eager to lend you a helping hand and are very experienced. If you are a beginner, these people steer you away from making the mistakes that everyone does starting out.

This place was a stop that I had been planning to make for a while and I'm glad I did. The store owner was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He had everything you could need. I'll be back, for sure.
