Definitely a great place to buy your next buck slayer! I went in on a budget and I’ve only ever owned 1 bow. I know major brands but that’s about it. Worked with me on getting a bow that fitted my needs without letting walk out with something I’d regret purchasing! Great group of dudes who are funny, welcoming, and professional. They welcomed military and gave military discount as well. Will be recommending other Marines to come here for their archery/bow hunting needs!

These guys are awesome. Neither my daughter nor I knew anything about archery. We went here to get her kitted out for a class. They definitely took care of us and made her feel welcome. They spoke with my daughter and listened to what she said and instead of making her feel like a dumb kid, they passed on their love of what they do. Today was her first "walk and shoot" outdoors at different ranges, 10 stages with one shot on each target from 9 to 60 yards. It took her a bit to figure out how her bow worked at different ranges but judging by the last two at 45 and 30 yards, I think she's clicking with her gear. Thanks for setting her up for success.

Outstanding. They had me try out several bows within my price range. They also let me try out several different releases and accessories. They did not try to up-sell me. Once I settled on a specific bow they got it completely set up for me, including going outside and shooting several groups at 20 yards. All three gentlemen helping me out were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend Hoffman Archery.

This store is one of the best archery stores in northern VA. I would highly recommend you bring your compound (I don't know if they do recurve bows) The owner (I believe his name is Ferron) is a nice guy, I have seen some reviews saying that he is mean or doesn't give good service. Heck, he put a string on my bow when he said "I don't do strings and cables today" he even gave me a discount!

They also let you shoot IN THE STORE (but it is like from three feet)

If there was anything I would recommend to Hoffman's. maybe a water fountain!

This place has to be the best Archery Company on the East Coast or more. It was literally two days before the opener for archery in Virginia and my current bow. Everything seem to be fine, except when I pulled back the last shot when practicing Arrow rest fell apart. So I live in Fredericksburg and I jump in my car a day before opener and was going to have them Do the repair. But the bow I had was three years old or more so I decided I would just buy a new one. I seen they were so busy one day before the opener. I was thinking I’d never be able to get it all figured out. I was wrong. Farron was able to put a brand new Matthews. Top-of-the-line, best one they have And I had also had just added a A1 Garmin scope So he put it together I went out at his range and within 10 or 15 minutes I was shooting bullseye , perfect shots. The Detention to detail Changes that needed to be done on the fly Hand, professionally and efficiently as most, his employees are all Feel like family. I would give you 10 stars if I could. Great shop, walked in today with my buddy. We are extremely new bow hunters and wanted to come to professionals to get started. My friend had purchased a used bow from someone we knew and took it in to get looked over, they were able to correct and tune the bow to his specs and once he was taken care of the attention was turned to me. I gave them a budget and they got me quality equipment for well under what I originally told them. They gave me tips on how to shoot and got my specs dialed in. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. I read some of the bad reviews and honestly I don't think it was the fault of the owner or employees but the customer. The owner is old fashioned in nature and as long as he feels respected he will return that same respect. Long story short our experience was great and even know we were very new and brought them a mess of inexperience to sort out. They worked flawlessly with us and we both couldn't be happier.

I've had my bow worked on by these guys twice in a year. Both times, I had excellent and friendly service. They have a small town feel and I love that. They treat you like family no matter if you're a beginner or a seasoned vet. Highly recommend

Amazing. The best customer service I have experienced. I was treated like a long-time friend and customer. Great atmosphere and environment. They have an amazing selection. They have classes and a nice outdoor range with a target provided to test/learn your equipment out on. They do repairs, too. From beginner to expert, this is the one-stop shop for all your archery needs.

I am giving Hoffman Archery a 5-star review. I have been coming here for several years now and have purchased several bows from Farron and his staff. From the first time I walked in on a busy Saturday right before hunting season started, I was treated with respect and a great deal of patience as I was brand new to the archery world and had absolutely no clue about bows. Once it was my turn Farron focused all his time and attention to getting me setup and teaching me the proper techniques and fundamentals of archery. Farron takes such pride in his work and tries to do his absolute best with everyone that walks through the doors. It never fails that when you’re in the shop Farron is being pulled in about a million different directions (because he is so knowledgeable about Archery and very passionate about his work.)
Farron touches every bow before it leaves the shop to ensure that it has been setup properly and is tuned correctly for the shooter. His prices are well below others and he doesn’t force anyone to buy anything they don’t need. If you come in with a budget, he does everything he can to keep you below your budget.
I personally haven’t seen a Farron send a bow out of his shop that isn’t dialed in at 20 yards at least and that’s even with brand-new first-time shooters. So, I encourage anyone that wants to get into Archery to go by Hoffman’s and let them set you up with your bow. You won’t be disappointed. (Just keep in mind that Saturdays around hunting season are extremely busy.)

I came in to purchase my first bow with very little experience or knowledge. They were buddy but I never felt neglected or rushed. They took the time to show me the ropes and make sure I was outfitted well. They helped teach me a few things and never belittled or talked down to me, which I appreciate while trying to learn. They worked within my budget and were upfront with the costs and quality of their products. Overall great customer service and would absolutely recommend them to anyone! Thanks guys!

These guys were absolutely awesome! I tried a couple other stores and being a complete bow virgin I really wanted to find a shop that would coach me thru the buying process as well as set me up with the basics of how to use the bow I was purchasing. These guys went above and beyond and I won’t be going anywhere else from here on out!

They fixed my crossbow while I waited ten point sent me the wrong string but they had everything they also tuned my sons bow and gave him some pointers since new to archery awesome staff can't say enough about them highly recommend prices are very fair for the quality and have a large selection of everything archery staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Absolutely fantastic shop run by true professionals! Stopped by to get a bow set up for my wife. Not only did they get her set up but they took the time to show her and I how to do better with our bows. I drove further to go to this shop due to a bad experience at another shop and it was totally worth it! Literally can not say enough good things about our experience!

Hoffman Archery is awesome. I am from Yorktown but heard nothing but great things from my son. Phil and Farron took there time to help me select the Matthews bow I wanted. Even suggested a cheaper bow as I am just getting back into the sport again. I learned a ton in the 2 hrs in the shop and at the end of the day. They stayed late to make sure I was all set. Great place. Low pressure and extremely knowledgeable.
