H.M. Woodworks

We couldn’t be happier with the custom baby gate from H.M. Woodworks. He was amazing to work with and is truly an artist in carpentry. My pictures don’t come close to doing justice to this piece. We basically said we keep bees so could there be hexagons included and he drew up several awesome designs at different price points for us to choose from. The entire process was so easy and fun. He’ll always have all of our business for custom woodworking, definitely check his business out! The quality is beyond worth it.

H.M Woodworks is an incredible modern woodworker whose goal is to make you the piece of your dreams. We commissioned a farmhouse table to be made and we could not be happier with the results! We adore this beauty of a table that serves as our family gathering spot no less than 3 times a day. Hugh sits down with you and sketches out what he believes you are looking for. But he doesn’t stop there. He checks in throughout the project making sure he is building exactly what you desire. He will not deliver until you are satisfied. He has great knowledge about wood types and how well they will work with your projects and goes to the mills himself to pick out wood for your specific project. So far we have a table and shelf made by H.M. Woodworks, but he is up for building just about anything! If you are looking for quality and someone who really listens to your ideas, Hugh is your guy!

I asked Hugh to build me a Farmhouse table. He drew up different designs, worked with me on measurements, materials, colors and cost. In the end he created the most beautiful piece that was beyond what I had imagined. We absolutely love it!

I have a Queen Anne sewing cabinet that had a broken leg. I took it to Hugh to create another leg. He did a perfect job! He was able to create a new leg exactly matching the other three legs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND H.M. Woodwork. I have several antique pieces and am thrilled to have found him.

Hugh brought my bookshelf vision to life. He excels at clear communication, planning, and execution. We will certainly keep reaching out to add character back into our 1908 home and sharing with all of our friends.
