Always friendly and helpful! They are very knowledgeable about their plants too. They also have fresh produce and the best peaches, cantaloupe and watermelon I've had in a long time!

Update 2024: If you find yourself waiting in line too long at the farmer's markets for corn on the cob, head to J& L Greenhouse. Their bicolor corn is fresh and delicious 😋
Even hubby stops to buy it if I forget....
They also have white which I have not tried but it also looks very fresh.
Hours are 12 noon to 6:00 7 days a week. There's other produc so check it out. Their jams have become a favorite of mine too.

Update 2023: It's fresh produce time and you will find some delicious corn on the cob, melons and more! A real favorite for us has been their 2 cream cheese and seafood spreads!! Each is very different but both delicious. We have some of each in the freezer and they taste just as good as buying them refrigerated.

Update 2022: It's mum season again and J & L has some gorgeous colors again! I've already posted pictures of some I purchased. Be sure to check out their meats, fresh produce, jams and lots of other goodies. Also be sure to look for some recipes they have to take with you using some of their fresh produce. Some are Louise's recipes too...can't wait to try the ones I picked up.

Update: I'm late getting my mums this year, but was still lucky to find some gorgeous ones in my favorite colors. They are low on mums and are trying to get more but honestly it's worth the trip to see ( and buy) all the beautiful varieties and colors of their pumpkins - big and small!! Plus get your straw, corn stalks, and ornamental cabbage. Plus whatever else I missed. You can get ready for the snow by going inside to stock up on your favorite jams and meats too. Always worth a trip....

So nice to have a nursery close by that carries a good variety of annuals, perennials, trees, some berry plants as well as fresh produce and much more. It was a busy day for them yesterday but the staff was very helpful, quick and efficient. I found them to have a wonderful selection of tomato varieties. I am trying "Delicious", "Husky Red" and "Black Cherry". All new varieties for me. I don't want to rush summer but I can't wait to try these tomatoes, especially the cherry!!

Vegetables were high quality and reasonably priced. Darrell was knowledgeable and friendly. He knew his sources and how the produce was raised. Corn was great! Emphasis was on freshness and quality. Eggs were from his own chickens and were fresh when I used them. I will be a regular starting with that visit.

The varieties of vegetables is mind boggling. I will not be taking my business anywhere else from now on! Was very impressed by the knowledgeable staff and pleasantly surprised by the overall pricing of their products.

Itscan awesome place it may be small but they carrybalot of fresh grown foods and carry Walnut Creek brands this is great and have fantastic customer service. I highly recommend them especially if you live in Galion area or surrounding areas of Galion.

After moving here almost a year ago (from Castalia & Bellevue) we finally made it to J&L. We picked out 3 nice pumpkins. We will definitely be going back. With the pandemic, we have not really ventured out much to see what all is in this town but glad we did finally make this stop.

Great stop for Spring, Summer, and Fall gardening/flowerin(lol) needs! Friendly faces, local grown veggies and Samples, tried Cayman melon today. Everyday new grocery staples added, just herd New Winter hours!!:)
