I've been going to this restaurant for 12+ years and have never been disappointed. The food is great always hot and great portion sizes. The service is fantastic and very kind. This is a household name in my family, and I think it's always great to be able to support local businesses. If you haven't tried it yet, TRY IT!

My husband and I were craving Chinese food so we headed up to Placerville to try the restaurant on Placerville Dr only to find out it was closed due to damage from a car. So we googled other locations close by and ended up at Grand China. We've lived in EDC for years and never knew that it was even there. Since this is on the back side of the shopping center and can be easily missed. I have to say the food was excellent, it was so tasty and light, not greasy at all like many other restaurants! The owner and wait staff were so nice, the atmosphere was great too. The portions were generous and I was actually so happy that we had leftovers to take home and enjoy again.We'll definitely be back to this hidden treasure behind Mickey D's!! 😋

I walked in off the street, hungry, I sat for a few minutes and got my food right away, Great friendly service, Bought Mongolian beef combo meal, very good. Great presentation.
Instantly a pleasant experience.

I have always seen a lot of people coming out of this place with takeout, and finally decided to give it a try. I usually go to another place when I want Chinese, but since that place is temporarily closed, I had to venture out.
I am not disappointed at all. All the food we got was super fresh tasting, and looking, not to mention delicious! All the meat was tender, and the veggies were cooked perfectly, nice and tender with a hint of crunch still.
The prices are excellent as well, especially considering the large portions they give you.
I was happy they accommodated me. I called about 15-20 minutes before they were scheduled to close. I asked if it was too late to place a take out order, and they gladly took my order, and told me no problem!
Overall - great food and service! I will definitely be getting food here again in the future.

Grand China is the only Chinese food I will eat in town. The food is amazing, but it's also the customer service. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door. Immediately seated, or helped if you are getting take out. They are quick and efficient and always make sure your satisfaction is the #1 priority. I don't eat Chinese anywhere else. The price is unbeatable too. Go eat here, you won't be sorry

with a smile. Seated quickly and attended to with warmth and professionalism. Cater to customers needs while making you feel more at home enjoying your meal. We've never been disappointed the menu and service is excellent . Just after a couple of visits they remember our favorites. We now take our grandson once a week he loves to dine there as well.
Fully recommend them for a wonderful meal.

This was my first time here and on a limited lunch break. The service was friendly, efficient and lightning fast. The food was excellent, the owner was amazing, and I will be back with all my friends!!

Favorite Chinese food in Placerville. Excellent portion sizes, some entrees better than others, hot and sour soup is my favorite there. Wish they were open on Mondays! Staff is always so friendly even when coming in a little late. Perfect take out!

Found this little gem when I was when in Placerville for the day and will always make a trip when I’m wanting Chinese food They have fast service and amazing food. Love the wonton soup and cream cheese crab ragoons and the crispy orange chicken. You will Not be disappointed eating here amazing food and portions as well.

Wonderful food every time! Very fresh and flavorful! They will make gluten-free dishes upon request. You can't tell the difference between gluten free and regular recipe. Super-friendly. Highly recommend.

We think the best Chinese food in town. We really like the sesame tofu. The service is always quick and the people are nice. The portions are always a good size.

This is one of the better sit-down Chinese restaurants I've been to in the area if not the best in the Placerville area. The food is exceptional service was fast and the staff were extremely friendly. I would go here instead of driving all the way into Sacramento for great Chinese food.

This place is really a 💎. For Chinese food lovers this place really is one of the best around. I've eaten here for years now and I can honestly say its always been the perfect amount of food and the quality of the service is amazing. The food is good, the people are nice, why not give them a try??

Genuinely nice people over the phone and when picking up our order. Excellent value, and amazing food. Highly recommend the wonton soup and sesame chicken.
