Stanlieo's Sub Villa

I've been eating here as long as I can remember. I used to ride my bike downtown and eat here in middle school. The food is always excellent. They have a surprising variety of vegetarian subs in addition to the pretty amazing selection of meaty ones. The Veggie Reuben on white with everything and the hot Kitchen Sink are my two go-to options. They don't invest a whole lot in the extras around the place, like stripes in the parking lot or waxing the floors, but their food is wonderful. The Jordan Lane location is a little roomier and seems to handle the lunch rush a little better simply because they have a bigger grill. The Governors location is the one pictured. Governors location is an easy walk from all the stuff downtown, just look for the "Jesus Rocket" at First Baptist to find your way! The Jordan Lane location is handy and just a signal north of I-565 and over the hill from University Drive (Hwy 72). Good prices, great bread and some real variety on the menu. Good stuff.

A old time favorite with lots of wonderful memories for me. The service us top notch and the subs are amazing.

Evidently there was a problem with my sub and the person taking orders came out to me and explained that my sandwich was not made correctly and they were remaking it. That's service you do not see theses days. And because it took a few minutes longer they gave me a card for a free sub on my next visit which wasn't necessary. They kept me informed that there was an issue and correct it immediately. I was just happy that they kept me informed.

It was the best Kitchen Sink that I've ever had there. It was so jammed pack of yummy meats and cheeses.

My husband has been coming here for over 40 years. Today after running errands all morning we decided to go and have lunch with my in laws. We ordered the Kitchen Sink Sub and my picky mother in law order the hot dog. Their staff is very friendly, food comes out very quick and delicious! I highly recommend it!!! 🤤

I'm saying the atmosphere is a 5 but honestly it's a hole in the wall and looks run down.
However the kitchen sink (add their crushed pepper mix) is nectar to the Gods.

I love Stanlieo's. I grew up in the area but moved an hour away about a year ago. Every time I'm back in the area Stanlieo's is my go to lunch spot. Every sandwich is made with love and you can taste it in every bite.

The kitchen sink sandwich was delicious! Recently, the employees have been helpful to me a couple of times. I am thankful for that!

If I could give 10 stars I would! Everyone is always so kind and attentive and the food is wonderful. I come in on my lunch break and am usually rushed and they always make sure to get my meal quickly. It helps that I'm a creature of b habit and I always get the same thing. Thank you!

Fancy and new “no”. The most popular “Kitchen Sink” sub did not disappoint. If you like hot, add their crushed red pepper blend, you’ll be glad you did. Perfect toast on the bread.
As a restauranteur, I can totally appreciate the owners care for her customers, her energy and enthusiasm, and the teamwork with her very small but efficient staff. Don’t overlook this gem due to the age of the building. I highly recommend.

We Love Stanlieo’s. The way they do there hotdogs is great. The bun is different than others but very good. If you have never tried Stanlieo’s you have got to try it.

The best sub in Huntsville! Can't go wrong with the Kitchen Sink, incredibly delicious! The huge chunks of veggies add so much flavor and crunch, well done.

Wow! Just wow!!! I just moved to Huntsville and have been searching for some awesome local spots. So glad I found this gem! I walked in and it smelled amazing. I had ordered online and their tablet was acting up but the lady at the counter got my order entered and it didn’t take long at all to get together. I had the roast beef sub, 1/4 sausage dog and app sampler. It was off the chain! best dog I’ve had in the south maybe ever. My new favorite spot in town

Food and service was outstanding!

Food : we got the Reuben and it was simply delicious. They put this chunky tomato-onion-pickle slaw on it that was just outstanding. Fries were crispy and done just right. Prices were very good.

Service : they absolutely made us feel like family and went above and beyond! The gentleman and the lady behind the counter were so courteous. You don’t see that nowadays.

Don’t be put off by people saying it looks old - sure, it is an old building. It will remind you of the places your dad always took you that were playing the Kentucky Derby on the TV. It’s old school and delicious.

So never been here till today. Let me say good friendly cashier, and the lady cooking you deserve a raise.. that sandwich was so so so so yummy. I will be coming back, and or ordering delivery. Very good deals, good food awesome food. Love love it

1st time customer. Not sure why I have never visited since I have passed this place many times in the last two decades. Based on a review I read while sitting in the parking lot, I ordered the pizza sub. It was delicious - warm bread with plenty of ingredients. One of the best subs I have had. This place has its on uniqueness as in atmosphere but I will definitely be back.

Took my son by right at opening today and it was our first time there. The gentleman took great care of us and our large order. We got his step dad and gpa a sub as well. 2 kitchen sinks, a kabob and a steak and cheese every one loved their food. My husband suggested that I get him double meat next time on his steak and cheese. That was on me 😂 thanks so much for the great service and hospitality!
