El Alambre Mexican Food - Elkhorn

The very first thing I noticed was it was a super clean restaurant. The tables and atmosphere was very relaxing. I had to order from the counter, which was fine. The food was ready pretty fast and it was great. Very flavorful and more than enough for two meals per entree ( for me). I like the spiciness of the food, and the hot sauce came in medium (not very spicy) and hot (much spicier, but not crazy). Super satisfied with the food.

We have had the chicken & steak burritos 3 times. They are big and filling, they are consistent in ingredients and full of flavor.
Price is very fair for what you get.
Love it, will be my go to place for burritos.

This place needs more love. Their food is so good and taste so fresh. The Elkhorn location has a lot of tables for a sit down dining experience and it’s very clean! I got the Chilaquiles de Asada and chicken sopa. So good!

Tried the marinated pork, marinated chicken, carnitas and asada. All good but the marinated pork was by far my favorite.

Great food and service. Food came out quick and they were generous with the meat on both the tacos and alambre. Tamales got devoured quickly before a pic could be taken. Recommend the alambre and the tamales. Only thing that would make it better is a margarrita but thankfully a couple doors over the corner tap made a margarita for me and we were able to eat there.

Que RICO!!!!!! Yummmy!!!! Delicious Mexican food. Asada fries are crispy to the bite. Lengua Tacos were Delicious with tons of flavor. I can’t wait to try the rest of the food. Front cashier is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and smells clean. Yay!!!!!

Stopped in today for lunch and it was fantastic! After working for 6 hrs in the construction trade, I was definitely hungry. Ordered the carne asada plate and was full afterwards. Food was hot, tortillas were hot, and top notch service. Gets a 👍👍 from me.

On my way to DQ for my daughter I decided to stop in for some tacos instead of being disappointed at Taco Bell. Instantly greeted by the same guy who took my order. He was super chill and friendly. I ordered two carne asada tacos with everything on it even though I was asked if I wanted all the toppings. Who goes to a Mexican restaurant and only chooses bean and cheese with nothing else? You need the toppings to complete the flavor profile of the dish. First bite is amazing! Nothing is overpowered and everything compliments each other. I was advised that these were smaller sized tacos. Within two huge bites I was finished. I’m not disappointed at all. You get exactly what you pay for. I’m glad I found this place. Try it out!

We went to Elkhorn and I got Carne asada tacos with rice but oh my Gosh like it does not compare at avalardo's. Probably a little bit of grease 😋 the rice it's good flavor.

Called in a steak burrito order on the way home. Loved it! Orange salsa is spicy and awesome, chips are very good. The gentleman said it’d be ready in 10 minutes, got there in 10 minutes and it was ready.

The very best street tacos I have ever eaten. They were full of flavorful meat plus cilantro, onion, and a dollop of guacamole. So good! We tried the Chilaquiles too and they were amazing. I’m having them cater my son’s prenuptial soon. They are that good!

Wanted a quick meal on a Friday and tacos sounded good. I drive past this location often and have heard good things. I did a pick up order since I needed to get my toddler to bed. The guy taking my order was friendly and had it ready in less than 15 minutes. The Asada tacos were awesome! I'm so glad Elkhorn has authentic street tacos without having to drive down to 24th Street. I will be coming back very soon!

Awesome Mexican food! Everyone needs to give this place a try... my go to is of course the alambre. Been enjoying their food for years now in other location. So glad for this Elkhorn location as it is much closer.

The food was amazing - and we tried several menu items. Everything was cooked well, simple ingredients (as it should be), and extremely tasty. Definitely get some churros before you leave! Our family will be back.

Had the asada burrito and it was very good. Reasonably priced as well.

My order was done super quick, tacos were delicious & flavorful, & customer service I received today was excellence. The horchata was good too!

The best carne asada tacos in the city outside of maybe South Omaha.

The chicken tamales were great. Bigger than I expected and had chicken filling in every bite. The quesadilla was also huge and filled with chicken and cheese, definitely ate too much but it was worth it
