Gorgeous view. Easy for me but if you’re bringing kids like we did it’s a little more challenging. Super worth it for the view!!!

This approximately 2 mile loop was perfect for a short hike before driving home. We chose to go right and the fork and had a gradual incline to the summit (about 1.5 miles in). The trail was well maintained and full of wildlife. We saw a couple deer, rabbits, and a lot of birds. It was pretty buggy between the summit and the end of the trail, but it was a steeper decline so we were able to hike it quickly. Very pretty views at the summit and an easy hike!

Well marked & short trail with a beautiful view. We did this as a group with several small children easily, even in January! There were some cool icicles hanging from the rocks & the view from the summit was magnificent!

Awesome hike for little kids. Relatively easy loop with plenty of ascent, but nothing too treacherous. Beautiful view from the summit, and some spectacular cliffs and rock formations on the way. We saw several deer along the entire route. Our 3.5 yr old walked the whole 1.4 mile loop.

This trail is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views and scenery! One of my favorite hiking trails in Shenandoah National Park

Get a quick reward for a short hike (1.25 mi) to the top. The open view to the west are iconic for Shenandoah. Easy to moderate trail.

A great hike for a solo hiker or a family. I'd call this a moderate hike, perfect for a beginner or expert. The overlook is very well worth the short hike.

View from overlook at top of Frazier Discovery Trail. It’s my favorite being a direct Frazier descendant and knowing the history of the Mountain/area.
