Very beautiful house and had a wonderful stay. It was so cool to look at the historic pieces in the home. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It’s a great find!

What a lovely place! Suzanne has created a comfortable, hospitable haven in this historic home. It is sunny and open in its public spaces, indulgent in its bedrooms. All the physical comforts a guest could ask for, within beautiful grounds with a cool, inviting swimming pool. Breakfasts were delicious, made with fresh ingredients and skillfully adapted to guests' dietary needs and preferences. Suzanne clearly manages the Manor very competently, but manages to make it look easy and is unobtrusive. However, if you want advice about the town and local restaurants, or just good conversation, she is available and is extremely engaging. Altogether a fascinating and welcoming house in which to have a restful stay!

Absolutely beautiful home, unfortunately it has just been sold. The seller was very nice and I spoke with her for approximately an hour she showed me the grounds and the house. One can only hope that the new owners will be just as pleasant as the prior ones. They will be missed.

Suzanne is delightful and the home is like staying with Grandma... maybe better. The breakfast and conversation were like old college friends getting back together.... absolutely a joy! And perfect for a short drive over to parent's weekend at Clarkson Univ. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked in the door Suzanne was a great host. As a first anniversary surprise, we booked 2 nights at the manor for. It was our first time to a B&B and we will definitely going back! We arrived earlier than planned since we didn't know how long the border would take and she didn't bat an eye. We got a tour of the Manor and shown our room which right away helped us relax. We talked to Suzanne for a little while that night, found out where the amenities were and spent the night relaxing in our room. The next morning we got to breakfast just as everyone else had just been seated. Susan told us that we could choose our time for breakfast, we just happened to choose the same as the other 2 couples staying there. Our first breakfast was served promptly made from scratch and delicious. The amazing conversation during breakfast lasted 2 hours. When everyone finally decided it was time to get going for the day, we spent another good 30-45 minutes talking with Susan about our possibilities for the day. We ended up doing one of the options Susan suggested, driving down to Lake Placid. She had suggested some other stops on the route as well, but we decided we wanted to go straight there. We spent the afternoon walking and shopping with a beautiful background. On our way back we stopped in Malone to walk around town which has a small town charm all it's own. We got back to the B&B for the evening and just spent it in the quiet comfort of our room. The next morning we had another amazing breakfast (Suzanne's famous oatmeal and blueberry pancakes!!) and some more great conversation. It was then time for us to leave, but not before we got some great pictures and more great tips from Suzanne on where to go shopping on our way home. We will definitely be returning to this little gem in Malone, NY.

Old-time elegance in a quiet, wooded location. Innkeeper Suzanne Hogan is a gracious hostess who sees to guests' every comfort and convenience. She is also delightful company and provides an especially good breakfast. (As a plus for anyone interested in genealogical research or history, the Franklin County Historical and Museum Society is right next door.)

What a great stay! Comfortable house with all the necessities. Amazing pool. Town and local amenities could use some serious work, but the house is so comfortable you don't need to leave! If the border was opened (which it wasn't), there are a lot of accessible fun spots not far away.

Kilburn Manor was beautiful, and totally worth the stay. Just bring your own breakfast to cook.
