This is a positive review of my first visit with Dr. Matthews, the initial consultation. The doctor and staff members I interacted with were very personable.
The wait to be called back to a room was not long at all, nor was the wait to be seen by the doctor. So far, so good. I have no complaints

Feel blessed to have Dr. Gaines And Brittany that talked to me before ,And after ,And how blessed and talented doctor Gaines's!! very professional very to the point and they take good care of you, I feel very blessed to have Brittany and Dr. Gaines, For this right total hip replacement, Went in on the third, and I’m already walking around and no pain! The incision is very small for the work that was done !!And the way they closed it up hard to believe, I recommend this orthopedic clinic to anyone, He’s to the point very serious!!! On a totally different level , Amazing surgeon !Had to wait a little bit, but it was worth it. I feel great and blessed to get such a talented doctor and team. Thank you very much😇 God bless!!!

Scott is a very personable guy. Made me feel very comfortable. He explained both procedures and I elected to go with the least invasive if that’s even the right word. Both procedures were just injections. One was intramuscular the other was actually into the shoulder joint. Me, being a big weenie, I went with intramuscular! Probably do the other one next time! Overall very good experience.

Was very happy with the way the clinic operated everything was made very easy. my pre-registration made it even easier The staff was very friendly and professional, that created a very comfortable feeling. I was in had a brief discussion with a nurse who was very attentive to me and next had x-rays and met with Dr Gaines who was also straight forward,to the point, easy to listen to and very responsive to my needs. I was out in approximately 25 minutes and received a call the next day with all the information discussed....so 5 stars for the total experience...and thank you !

Dr Gaines & his NP Brittney are awesome! I had great success with my left knee replacement, and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my upcoming right knee replacement. Having worn out my knee joints from decades of athletic competition, it’s like getting a rebirth in my 60’s to be limber and mobile again!!! 5+ stars to this team of orthopedic professionals 👍👍 ~Mugsy from Daytona Beach

we’re amazing. Dr Gaines was very knowledgeable yet came down to my level in explaining my problem. He was very gentle in giving me an injection. Front desk made me feel most welcome.

Dr. Gaines is the best orthopedic on this side of the Mississippi, possibly in the western hemisphere. Like a Picasso or DaVinci, he fixed my knee with William Tell precision. Outside of the OR, he could give Tiger Woods a run for his money on any course. Need your knee fixed? Go to Dr. Gaines. Need any muscle or bone fixed? Go to Dr. Gaines. Need to lower your handicap? Don’t go to Dr. Gaines, because his raw talent can’t be taught.

It was a nice and friendly environment. The Dr. Was very stern about the reason you are visiting for only. He handle the problem well and if you need another visit just call his office.He prescribe me with what I needed.

74 y/o waking up @2:20 am Saturday for the usual Bathroom visit: tripping on bed sheets falling: Tumbling hard landing on my left Shoulder : sustained pain and unable to lift up my left arm:
Later on Saturday went to Halifax ER:
Got X rays and was told No worries a bone bruise or a sprain: Not Broken, but still I am unable to lift my left arm: Monday morning went to Walk In Orthopedic Clinic: Thanks for being there and accepting a Walk In patients for Immediate Orthopedic Care: :Mr Trenton Butler, PA-C
Saw me , thoroughly examined me and diagnosed
Rotator cuff injuries and ordered a stat MRI
And was so helpful to call the Port Orange Imaging Center to expedite the procedure, Care and Professionalism @ it’s Best, Thank you Trenton,
MRI revealed a Full Thickness Rotator Cuff Tear
Affected muscles and Tendons, Appointment with Dr James M. Bryan was on Monday 7/29/24:
I was preparing for “ Surgery “ then immobilizing then Rehab PT!!!
Dr Bryan a Gem of knowledge and orthopedic skills: after a Thorough Examination and reviewing the MRI : explained that 75% Chance of Physiotherapy may alleviate the problem and in case it doesn’t, then he can still Surgically Repair the injury, No Rush to Surgery: Let us try the PT
And Re check , now 2 days of PT : I can Report improvements beyond my expectations: so will continue with the plans.
I am @ loss of words to describe how Dr Bryan who is a Surgeon is so professional, honorable
and dedicated for the patients well-being ,as his priority : Opted to try non surgical treatments and will be ready if necessary surgery is required.
God Bless him and his family and the Orthopedic Group, I just feel lucky and blessed to have my care trusted in this Esteemed Organization.

I have never seen such clear & precise signage, very easy to find on my first visit to this location. Lobby clean, receptionists were friendly, wait times were minimal. X-ray tech was pleasant and my diagnosis and treatment plan were what I expected.

Excellent friendly staff ! On time appointments. Never waited more than 10 minutes.Dr’s. and PA’s are very upbeat, positive, informative, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Dr Mark Gillespy and Jessica harris are the best ❤ always so attentive to my questions and concerns.. explain everything in detail and go above and beyond in every aspect! Everyone in all their offices are so polite and professional..💯 percent blessed to have them

I was seen by NP Brittany. She was thorough, answered all my questions with intelligence and thoughtfulness. The office staff is on point, always a great interaction.

I found Dr. Matthews to be extremely professional without losing his ability to show compassion, kindness & patience. He took time to address all my concerns and made sure I fully understood the situation before our appointment was over. His friendly demeanor is rare these days and I am confident I will get the best care available under him and his staff. It was a refreshing feeling after the direction the medical world is going the past few years.

Had an appointment with PA Jessica Jiminez at Dr. Bryan's office. She was very pleasant and able to answer my questions. I know that some people are unsure of PA's but Jessica is great 👍.

One of the best experiences I've ever had, and I've to many to many Ortho Drs in my 72 yrs of life. Dr. Mathews and staff, P. A., receptionist were very friendly, and helpful. Have and will continue to recommend the Orthopedic Clinic to everyone.

This was the most efficient Doctors office I think I’ve ever been to. Very efficient, pleasant and while I was looking to see Doctor Gains, His PA was awesome!

Britney D. makes my knee injections every three months something to look forward too! She is confident, kind, a great communicator, and exceptionally skilled in the art of minimal discomfort with knee injections. Everyone here is great..very friendly and professional..love my surgeon Dr Mark Gillespie and Jessica Harris that works with him..they both are amazing in every aspect
