Gaku Ramen

My wife and I visited last night. She ordered just apps, chicken, gyoza, cucumber and shishito peppers. All were amazing. I ordered the ramen with extra noodles. I also ordered extra spicy (menu option) because I like spicy. 🙂 I would have liked to have tried it the regular way to compare because I think I would have liked it better. All in all, it was a great meal. If you're fortunate enough to get Kelly as your server, your night will be perfect, as ours was!

My first time having real ramen and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was great. Pokémon and the Last Airbender were on the tvs.

I had the chicken shoyu. The flavor profile was fantastic. Lots of depth. Generous portions and very filling. I needed a takeout container. My friend had the tonkotsu. Very different flavor but just as good.

Wait staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient. We’d definitely go back to try some other menu items.

I stopped at Gaku Ramen after hearing great things about an authentic Ramen shop in Burlington. I was not disappointed. I'm new to this style of restaurant, and the server was absolutely outstanding. I asked for my ramen to be however they preferred it and it...was...amazing. 10/10 I would definitely recommend this place!

It's definitely worth a return trip! The soft boiled egg in my Ramen was a small slice of heaven. Staff were attentive and friendly.

This Ramen Shop is super cool. I spent my time here watching Inuyasha and the Powerpuff Girls. Great atmosphere!
I had the Spicy Tonkatsu ramen and some Pork Buns. Was absolutely delicious! Definitely a place I will visit again next time I'm in the area.

Stopped in for a drink while waiting for a table elsewhere. Great service. We got 2 small plates and both very flavorful! The ramen smelled amazing, would come back for it!

Nice friendly atmosphere. Quick lunch service at bar. Had the Tonkotsu Ramen. Tasty. Filling. Extra charge for the egg made it a little pricey for lunch, but probably typical for Old Town.

What a find! Not your usual ramen place, this felt like it belonged among all the foodie places in New York City. Their vegetarian ramen was divine! The broth wasn't just boring veggie broth. It's like they actually took time to make it tasty! Get their appetizers and sides too! All super tasty!

My new addiction!! The ramen is to die for!! You can taste the love that was put into making it. I also ordered the karaage which was quite tasty. I had a gin-tendo which was really nice. The staff were all very friendly. It can be an awesome date night or solo lunch spot... either way, go get some!!!

This has got to be one of the best Ramen places I've been too. They had one of the best sake and vegetarian ramen. Definitely recommend the Kikkoman Plum and Ozeki Premium Sake sakes. The ambiance is pleasant and has friendly waiters.

Love me some ramen! If you're in downtown Burlington checking out this place is a must! The environment was great, staff are sweet and attentive, food came out quick and was delish!

Stopped by after shopping and the food was delicious! I ordered Tonkotsu with pork belly and it definitely hit the spot! Our server was very kind and attentive. Definitely going back the next time I’m in btown!

The chicken shoyu was *chef's kiss*, so good. It was my first time having ramen, and it exceeded my expectations. The portions are generous and everything was fresh. Highly recommend!

This place is my favorite ever!!! I travel from Plattsburgh with my boyfriend at least every other weekend to get the ramen here! The manager and staff are so kind and have never gave us a bad experience! I totally recommend this ramen to everyone!❤

Delicious food. Noodles were spicy enough for my spice-crazed partner. Great appetizers!! I loved that they had vegan and vegetarian options for my dietary restrictions. They had small canister of chopped ginger and garlic which I really enjoyed (i am obsessed with garlic). The day we went it was a little chilly and rainy outside and it was the perfect warm-up for a day like that. They were also showing Jurassic Park on TV which is an added bonus for my millenial heart.

Brought my daughter and her friends and even though the place had been absolutely SLAMMED with customers all day, the staff was still welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious (particularly the dumplings). It was a great experience.

My husband and I went last week because we've been dying to try some authentic ramen, and we both loved it! We were given a sheet of paper with the menu that explained what certain things are, like miso, tonkotsu, and shoyu, which was very helpful. We highly recommend it and plan on going back soon!
