Taqueria Santa Cruz

This place was yummy! Especially after having a few drinks. The combo plate with a taco & tostada absolutely hit every craving I was having! Love this place & it’s a good stop after a long day at the beach!

Carne asada taco was not bad at all. Good amount of meat to tortilla ratio. The taste was not bad at all - the quality of meat was not bad- the softness of the tortillas creates a great balance of flavor complimented the carne,salsa, onion and cilantro. If you want something quick and filling- the price was worth the taco.

Best tacos in Santa Cruz!!! Granted, I didn't have tacos anywhere else in Santa Cruz, but I do not imagine any other taco being able to top these. Excellent flavors, the salsa is spicy but great and a good size taco. Husband had a tongue taco and he said it was great. (I don't like my food tasting me back so I stuck with carnitas and carne asada). The kids' burritos were also a 10: generous portions and great flavor. Ceviche tostada was good but not the best I've had. Overall I do recommend you go here if you're nearby.

We tried 49er Super Veggie Burritos and Veggie tacos. Loved their hot sauce and habanero sauce.

Hits hard every time. Miles above ordinary. The staff is friendly, hospitable and the service is prompt. Always with a smile, the food makes it to your hand directly. Burritos are 🔥. Tacos 💣. And Tortas 🤌. Love the vibe, and the avocado salsa is amazing. Habanero salsa is available if you're feeling adventurous (are you ready?).. you will not be disappointed.

Great attitude. I came in just for a snack of some house pinto beans with cheese. They offered me fresh salsa from the bar. It was a generous portion, under five dollars. It was delicious, absolutely perfect. And rather than act disappointed that I didn’t order something more expensive, they were very gracious.

I came in with my family from San Jose to see the monarch butterflies and then we decided to go to Santa Cruz Taqueria. I’m glad we came over to this Taqueria. We ordered some tacos and traditional aguas frescas, they were absolutely delicious from the first bit to the end. I really recommend stopping by this Santa Cruz Taqueria you will not regret it instead, you would keep coming back every time you get a chance. Their service was incredibly friendly.

These tacos were filled to the absolute brim to the point where I couldn’t even eat them without spilling.

The carne asada, el pastor, and lengua tacos were all blissfully juicy and the meal even came with free chips and salsa.

Excellent taqueria that I’ll be visiting anytime I’m in the Santa Cruz area

A small eatery with really good meats and comfort food. I came here for my fix of papas y huevos with some rice and beans. Simple and to the point, it did not disappoint. Would definitely return.

1st time here, and I was not disappointed. Excellent food and staff! Will definitely stop in again next time I'm in town!

Great authentic Mexican food, we ordered the super nachos, and buche torta, loved the selection of salsas.

The food was spectacular! My burrito was full of meat.....not rice.

One of my favorite Taquerias! A huge choice of various meats: carne asada (steak), birria (goat), and even lengua (beef tongue), with one of the best Horchatas this side of the hill. Your order comes with tortilla chips and they still have a salsa bar with Pico de Gallo, guacamole, and radishes!

The food is absolutely awesome! The service is perfect: attentive and multilingual. Plenty of places to sit in the evening (weekday). A nice selection of Mexican bottled sodas and juice.

This place had some delicious food 🤤 I ordered the super nachos with carne asada and they were so good! Definitely recommend this place if you want some good Mexican food! They also had plenty of seating outside. The staff was very friendly.
