Rose House

I spent 4th of July week at Rose House with Kelly & her family. The experience was superb from start to finish. She was there to greet me with a smile helped me carry my bags and settle in. The historical home is gorgeous and the history is moving. The pictures proudly displayed tell the stories of the people served throughout the 100+ years the home has operated in several different capacities. I travel a lot as a single woman and the space provided me a safe and clean environment to relax and enjoy my time. I loved drinking my morning coffee on the beautiful front porch. If you’re considering a stay in Du Quoin I highly recommend Rose House. And make sure to check out her boutique!

The Rose house is spectacular! A true gem in a small town. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. You’ll sink into the fluffy mattress. Its like a 5 star hotel. The owners are super nice and truly care about quality customer service. I highly recommend The Rose House for a great place to stay while visiting So Illinois.

The Rose House is a restful and lovely place. If you are new to Du Quoin, it is nestled in a very quiet neighborhood. We were genuinely able to rest there!

If you are returning to Du Quoin, the Rose House holds so many local treasures. Kelly has old photos and mementos of Du Quoin all over the house. Her boutique even stocks Indians gear from the HS down the street. If you have memories of this building as Francie’s, you will be delighted by what the hosts have done with this property!

Growing up I had always admired the property of Francie's Inn B&B, but never had a reason to stay. Unfortunately, I had a reason and it wasn’t the best if circumstances- my Father’s burial and celebration of life. When looking for places to stay around town that could accommodate my family and also host a brunch the following day my options were limited in DuQuoin. I was so happy to connect with Kelly at the Rose House. She made making the reservations and setting up my Sunday brunch an easy process. She remembered my family as we attended the same church growing up and I was so pleased at how she has updated the property. The porch was a great place to sit and watch the mornings go by with my favorite Marks bakery pastry and coffee from Farm Fancy. The added information in rooms was great for new options that were available in town since I have been gone 18 years. I highly recommend emailing or simply calling for reservations as Kelly will make certain your stay is all taken care of. The kids loved the yard to play in and the entire family loved the Koi pond too! Can’t recommend this local hometown spot enough!! Thanks again Kelly and Family for this gem of a spot, and a real home away from home.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Rose House. The house is beautiful and quaint, yet modern and super-clean. Each room is gorgeous and comfortable and the hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating while giving you privacy. I highly recommend staying here if you are ever in the area.

I am a travel nurse and The Rose house is hands down the best place I have stayed so far! The rooms are always fresh and clean and they make you feel right at home! The owners are so easy to communicate with and are so accommodating with all my needs. I came in early today because of a snow storm and I just received a text message that my car had been cleaned off to make it easier for me in the morning. They definitely go above and beyond to make your stay here amazing!

Beautiful B&B and location and marvelous host, Ms. Kelly. Highly recommend for a great girls trip, shower/party location or just better than a hotel. Stay here!

This place is AMAZING! A friend of mine booked for our family and we didn't know what to expect.. The house was super clean and cozy which made us feel just like home. The owner was amazing, kind and friendly! It was an Eclipse weekend and she even didnt raise the fee!!!!!! So thankful for the memory! Such a sweet visit♡♡♡

Rose House is one of the loveliest places I have ever had the pleasure to stay! I had the best night’s sleep on the most comfortable bed that I have had the pleasure to sleep on! The room was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and modern. The staff is incredible so kind,, efficient and helpful! I plan on coming back and telling anyone who visits DuQuoin to stay here!!

We enjoyed this beautiful place called Rose house and Kelly was a great hostess. We love the place and everyone should come and check this place out. House was built back in 1908.

The Rose House is wonderful! Kelly is the best host, and the space itself is lovely. Our room was very cute and clean.The Van Arsdale room is so spacious and the clawfoot tub in the bathroom is such a cool feature. It has been very hot out, and we were given an extra box fan on top of having A/C and a ceiling fan just to make sure we were comfortable. My friends and I had such a great time staying here!
